Hello! My name is Jay and I am currently on a quest to change the music industry. I believe that music has been turned into something which is undervalued, subverted, re-cycled, marketed and trashed through MONEY!!
Artists are being exploited, people are being exploited, music is being used to hypnotise and influence people into purchasing corporate products and taking away the power of individuals. The INDUSTRY is creating an inferiority complex amongst new and not-so-new bands, consequently sucking them in (i have experienced this also...!!) to 'unsigned' band competitions, 'unsigned' radio stations, 'unsigned' band stages, 'unsigned' 'unsigned' 'unsigned'!!!
Creators of Music. Creators of Art. Reclaim your Power and keep it for yourself. DO NOT give it away to these people!! It is yours for use to do with what you will- to achieve all you need to achieve by yourself or with the help of others who are using their power in the same way.
Music does not need an Industry... because it is not an industry... it is the Essence of all matter and energy as we know it. Music can create food, shelter, warmth... all on its own if you allow it... it shapes our environment (take a look around and see how it does this...) and it shapes our lives.
Don't be fooled by the 'Industry'... it's an Illusion...
Acceptance solves everything and that everything is you.
