About Me

I write in a range of musical styles for unusual combinations of instruments and like to experiment.
I wrote my first album, '4 Month Novelty' in in 2004/5 and then 'Joker's Notepad' in 2005/6 and recorded them in my basement with my cheap guitars and a karaoke mic on a broken 8-track!
'Knot' was my entry for the Guildford Festival Joyce Dixey Composition Competition 2007, and 'Outed in Five Movemets' was my entry for the 2009 Joyce Dixey, and I was really, REALLY overwhelmed to win both times. Thanks to everyone who performed in the concerts and on the recording. In Outed, there are actually only 7 performers, but each is a multi-instrumentalist.

In 'Shoe, Shoe, Haiku' (feat. Spike on steel pans) and 'Sloppy Seven', all of the instruments are sung/played out - with no loops.
I enjoy playing with other musicains and love being involved in music whether it be playing/writing/recording/producing.
