I'm you're average everyday gal. I went to college, became a sorority girl, graduated, went to another college, graduated from that one too, became an apprentice, and then started my career.
I work hard--pretty dedicated, I'd like to retire by 55. I have a crazy family but love them anyway. I have two older sisters that I claim and actually adore them, the third older sister....well, every family has one.....she's a wreck of a mess of ....(bunch of swear words in this space).. Enough said!
I'm Daddy's Little Girl, the baby of the family and I love every part of that. Not that the older sisters didn't torture me as a kid, they did, but you can only have one baby of the family.....So HA! Most all of my friends are spread out amongst the US. I love music, LOVE to dance, and love red wine...(in fact, I even met my fiance' in the wine aisle of the grocery). I hate sushi, am annoyed by how men's dress shirts have all of those little pins in them, I want a dog but am never home enough to properly care for one. I love children but have none of my own. I have two tattoos (one of which I don't like) and used to have my tongue pierced, oh what a rebel I was!!
I'm outgoing but work in a conservative field so I don't always get an opportunity to show that side of myself. I'm a smart ass, I like to talk, but understand the value and power of listening first. I'm a perfectionist...sometimes to a fault, a quasi control freak and I'm getting worse as I get older. I'm rather liberal...hey I went to a liberal arts college, it was chalk-full of liberalism, both outward displays and subconscious inuendos. I believe that everyone is entitled to thier own opinion. I don't believe, however, that we are all entitled to voice that opinion all the time. Remeber, listening can be VERY powerful thing. I'm somewhat opinionated, enjoy a good debate or argument but will never walk away mad or without agreeing to disagree. If I walk away mad, you've won, you've defeated me, you've gotten the last word and I'm not a big fan of that. I don't like doing dishes, I never finish the milk before it goes bad. Furthermore, I never take it out of the refridgerator until days or weeks later. I love to cook, but I'm a horrible baker. Getting better though. I love coffee and don't see the reason behind starting a perfectly good day without it. I worship chocolate. I'm right handed, I am a horrible speller...always have been, you can probably tell from all of this. I ride roller coasters, I enjoy reading the dictionary, I'm afraid of cats....seriously afraid of cats....however...a cat came with my boyfriend...and I LOVE her...I think I still hate cats, just not her. She's a special cat! I hate that carbohydrates are bad for you, I love cheese. I don't like it when people refer to people as being oriental....they're Asian, not oriental! Rugs are oriental....not people! I have some of the greatest people on Earth as friends. I didn't really come from much but would never deny my roots. I love all aspects of randomness. Randomness keeps us all in check. I'm also a big fan of the word fabulous. I appreciate a healthy stream of consciousness. As you can tell from my ADD-like "about me" explaination, I appreciate the stream of consciousness
