LA INTERNACIONAL SONORA SHOW La Internacional Sonora Show was founded in 1990 by Kiko Vargas SR and his sons (Billy and Kiko Vargas jr) whose mission was to create an organization where the musicians are the stars. In the last decade they have perfected the musical style that is the "Cumbia" Their mission is to give a joyful existence to all their listeners.The music of La Internacional Sonora Show has been heard from generation to generation; it is a legend in the tropical genre of music. That's why their fans call them "Los Reyes De La Cumbia" or "Kings of Cumbia".La Internacional Sonora Show rocketed to fame in 1993 with the release of their first CD "Escandalo" which launched them international Cumbia superstars. The song "Escandalo" is a hit to this very day. is still played in many clubs and anywhere that Cumbia music is played. Although Escandalo is used by many other groups, it's origins are with La Internacional Sonora Show, many think is sonora dinamita; the reason is because the band was the touring USA band using the name La Internacional Sonora Dinamita Show.In 2006 they have given a classic hit a hot new twist with a reggae- ton interpretation of "Escandalo", along with some of their their greatest hits.La Internacional Sonora Show is presently led by bandleader Kiko Vargas jr, assuming a role vacated by the untimely passing of his father (Kiko Vargas sr) in 2004. The band has Macondo, Daly, Delfo, Joana and Kiko Upfront on Vocals and a full orchestra supporting them which includes piano, guitars, congas, bass, accordion, timbales, congas and trumpets.La Internacional Sonora Show has spent a few years touring and pleasing audiences with their exciting live shows and infectious Cumbia sounds. They have appeared on the line up of very many high profile Latin Music shows such as La Movida, El Show De Johnny Canales, and Don Francisco just to mention a few.La Internacional Sonora Show has performed in many events including Calle 8 in Miami, Fiesta Broadway in Los Angeles, and all Major Cinco De Mayo festivals for example in Reno they have been requested by the city of Reno to perform for two consecutive years totaling more than 100,000 each day for two days.The Music of La Internacional Sonora Show has been featured in commercials for MCI, the California Lottery, Coors Light, Miller Lite, and La Curacao. They recently sold out the famous Hollywood Palladium with advance Ticket Sales. Their talent and popularity is not a question. La Internacional Sonora show promete llevar alegría a las vidas de todos sus seguidores.La Internacional Sonora Show saco su primer disco/CD titulado “Escandalo” en los 90’s, con el cual La Sonora show subió a la fama internacionalmente. En ese mismo disco, se lanzo el sencillo del mismo nombre “Escandalo” el cual fue una sensación, que hasta hoy en día se escucha en la radio, bares y centros de baile. Aunque “Escandalo” es una canción que tocan muchas otras agrupaciones, esta es una canción original de La Internacional Sonora Show.La Internacional Sonora Show es actualmente dirigida por Kiko Vargas Jr., quien asume el puesto de su respetado padre el Sr. Kiko Vargas, el cual falleció en el 2004, la agrupación esta compuesta de un equipo de talentosos músicos que incluye trompetas, congas, teclados, percusión, bajo, acordeón, guitarras y flauta.Con más de una docena de discos en su trayectoria, el 2008 es un año muy interesante para La Internacional Sonora Show, la cual se prepara para lanzar un material totalmente fresco e innovador. El lanzamiento de su primer video en vivo grabado desde los escenarios de El Hollywood Palladium refleja la maestría, energía y vibración de las presentaciones de La Internacional Sonora Show. También se lanzara a finales del ano otro sencillo, que seguro será bien aceptado por sus seguidores.La Internacional Sonora Show en estos últimos años ha viajado con sus músicos por todo el mundo, llevando música y alegría con sus conciertos en vivo. Indiscutiblemente sus triunfos son muchos. La Sonora Show ha tocado para el Rey de España, en Los Ángeles se ha nombrado el día de la Sonora Show. Han formado parte de innumerosos e importantes eventos Latinos, incluyendo Calle Ocho en Miami, Fiesta Broadway en Los Ángeles, y los festivales mas importantes de celebración de Cinco de Mayo. Este ano fueron el grupo de más atracción en la ciudad de Reno al cual asistieron mas de 100,000 personas. En famoso Hollywood Palladium vendieron boletos de preventa con un lleno total. Se les ha otorgado las llaves de la ciudad no solo de California si no también de Texas. Ha recibido muchísimos galardones de parte de La ciudad De Los Ángeles por su ayuda al mejoramiento y Calidad de vida de nuestra comunidad Hispana.
