About Me

THE SHE is a band consisting of five HE’S playing songs about HER. Inspired by the sights and sounds of his Ghent-homebase, songwriter David D. scribbles down clever words and major chords in his cheap scrapbook. He then packs his guitar and heads to the local youth club attic where the other SHE-males impatiently await him. Armed with banging drums, ringing guitars, pounding bass lines, harmonic back-up voices and a mellow cello they toy with ideas and transform them into fully bloomed sexy pop-rock-indie-jazz-blues-space-punk-folk-tunes. After a hard day’s night the bunch ease out at the bar, plan on taking over the world, make a toast to the good life and chat about a follow-up for their acoustic ditty ‘Sparkling Water for Sissies’ which got aired on some of Belgium’s biggest radio stations.
