I am a singer, poet, producer, teacher and mother. I started singing at age 3 and recording at the age of 13. I have been in many groups. In 1995 I was in a group called BGOTI (Bad Girls of the industry), which went on to sign with Motown then to Death Row Records.I was also a part of Everything -n-More (1997), wedid video toured the mid west and did a down south college tour and opened for many artist. We also had a single 'fake ones' that was played on WGCI and we also did the intro promo for the Bad Boys(WGCI), Stone Pony (WGCI) and Crazy Howard Magee (WGCI). I have opened for TI, Mob Deep, Mase, R. Kelly, Common,Kelly Price, Talib kwile, Dead Pres., Usher, Babyface, Kindred Family Soul,Kanye West, Twista and more.
I was a part of Poetree Chicago (2001) for a brief time and did many shows in IL and Wisconsin.And Blaq Dawn (2002-2005) Where I co produced our Cd that was sold in Chicago and over seas, we also did a short tour with Kindred Family Soul. I have done collaborations with many other artists locally such as B-low of Do or Die,Raheim Divine, Prime Meridian, SBw/ NoID and many other artists and Producers. In 2006 I had a few songs Featured on NBC's Black Donnelly's and Friday Night Lights prime time program and other features songs published on cable shows. All these experiences have led me to venture out on my own. I have completed a solo cd entitled 'Versetile' and a Duet Project with My Brother in song Jacob, entitled 'toc Tic' Both Albums are available on iTunes through Iam music online. I am currently working with JUSTFM entertainment to promote a musical movement of live entertainment in Chicago and bring that to the world through the internet. I also play with Kick Bricks which is a live band from Chicago.
In June of 2001 I founded a Non Profit Youth Organization called The C.U.R.E. Foundation, through this organization myself and other artist are able to educate youth on art, culture and social and community ethics.
