Live music, films, people, booze; not necessarily in that order.
Most people... at least once... Maybe you?!
I love music! Particularly live music and particularly rock, metal, punk, funk and ska.You can probably tell from the site address that I'm a recent Motley Crue convert after years of resisting (cheers Mark!) and I love the rock 'n' roll stuff- GnR, The Cult, Sex Pistols, Buzzcocks, etc.
I play the bass guitar and love anything with a good groove- particularly 'Zombie Metal' like White Zombie, Rob Zombie, Frankenstein Drag Queens, etc.- and bands like Pantera, Rage Against the Machine, RHCP etc.
Myspace has turned me onto some particularly excellent local bands- checkout Multi Purpose Chemical , if you're into bands like SOAD, or Anger is a Gift if you like Rage Against the Machine (best band ever!), and The Stopouts if you're a ska head.
I grew up on zombie movies- Dawn of the Dead (original, obviously) and Braindead are still two of my fave films.
I've watched far too many low-budget horror movies to count (although the Mutant Kid/Plutonium Baby still makes me laugh) and watched Star Wars so much as a Kid I can pretty much recite it line for line... "Strange, the damage doesn't look as bad from out here..."
Bit more cultured these days though. Think my favourite ever film is probably Alan Parker's Mississippi Burning.
I watched a lot of crap telly growing up...
Cartoons- Battle of the Planets, Transformers, Centurions, Ulyses 31, Cities of Gold, etc. Comedies- Red Dwarf, Blackadder, Mary Whitehouse Experience, etc., etc.
Don't watch much TV these days but, when I do, Spaced, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Family Guy and Robot Chicken make me laugh the most.
Currently reading Chuck Palahniuk (Fight Club, Survivor, Haunted, etc.), amongst others.
