Born to lose, knit to win.

About Me

What, you don't know what you need to know already? Sheesh.

What I'm into:
-Knitting (more than just your trendy "Oh! I think I'll knit this week!")
- punk/hardcore (real hardcore, not that stuff claiming to be hardcore these days. What to know what I'm talking about? Read and see American Hardcore, that will give you an idea of what real hardcore is, asshole.)
-reading
-nerd behaviour
-drawing

blah blah blah.

I'm also really into bad moods these days. Which is odd because I spend so much of my time laughing. Maybe I'm just laughing at you. Yeah, that's probably it.

This is what I love, this is what I do.

My Interests

I admit to having a knitting, movie, music, reading, liner note, album cover and bed linen fetish. This is why you love me.

I'd like to meet:

Doctors Venkman and Rock.

Music:

First and foremost:

All other bands must fall in line after them, and most of these bands would do so willingly.

This is by no means a complete list, and it's in no particular order (but you know the ones at the top I dig a little more than the rest bahahaha).

Bad Brains
Black Donnellys
Johnny Terrien and the Bad Lieutenants
Head
Black Flag

Frank Zappa/Mothers

The list goes on and on and on.....

Movies:

yes. You want me to list them? No.

Television:

I own one. Circa 1983. It has dials instead of buttons, and probably some tubes. It is used only for watching movies and playing Nintendo 64, which happens all the time.

I'm holding out out for a specialty cable channel that shows nothing but blooper shows. Until then, they will not see any of my money.

Books:

Currently reading:

I was a Punk Before You Were a Punk by Chris Walter. EXCELLENT READ!

Heroes:

SFC (1946-1995) and JPC (1939-2006), R.I.P. And anyone who has the guts and resolve to rise above all the bullshit that is thrown at them every day. That's what these two people taught me, first and foremost. To rise above, and to do it with as much grace and dignity as possible.

My Blog

Glad to see you go go go go goodbye

Fuck you 2006, for the most part you were the worst one on record. If you were a physical being, I would kick you where it counts as hard as I could. Mind you, there were definitely high points, espec...

Let's get a few things straight.

It's been a while since the world had a Thuseybelle Reality Check, so I would like to take a moment to lay down the law. Are we sitting comfortably? Then we'll begin.... 1) I overheard someone compla...

Lesley B.: The girl who hates Christmas

Seriously, if I hear any more christmas music, I am going to fucking kill someone. I'm sitting here and there's some shitty christmas cover on the place's radio and it sounds like Ashlee Simpson or so...

Cold nights, absent friends and Random Killing.

Standing at the Wick tonight, letting the easy-listening waves of Random Killing wash over my troubled soul, I was reminded of times past and absent friends. A friend and I agreed that someone was mis...

The dictatorship of shitty logic

Back in '95, I knew I was too young for this. Too young to have to deal with such heavy shit. Somehow I got through it. Somehow I sucked it up and went about my business. 11 years have passed and I'm ...

"I am sure, in the miserable annals of the Earth, you will be duly enshrined."

So, Diane Haskett is back in town. Figures that the day that she crawls back into town was the most miserable day weather-wise. She is one of the biggest disgraces this town has ever produced. A compl...

The world has turned and left me here

Remember when I used to be here all the time? Me too. I was ALWAYS here. Here being online, not just in blog land. To be quite honest, I don't know how I did it and even if I do get internet back at h...

I wish I knew what doodsangst meant.

I don't much like this business of having no internet at home, I'm sitting here at Head 2 Head nerding it up and I hate that people are probably looking over my shoulder. Work is getting stupider by ...

Sometimes, I hate this town.

Can someone please explain to me why, oh why, this city of London is tripping over itself to deify Paul Haggis? He created some shitty tv shows. Won awards for some boring movies. Now, apparently there...
