More graphics at LayoutJungle.comI love blues and rock music...and the occasional country song as long as its by Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, or any Sun Records performer. I would say that my favorite performer right now is Stevie Ray Vaughn...I own nearly all his records and box sets, and enjoy hearing new subtleties in each piece every time I listen to them. Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Poison, and any 80's rock band would be on my list...I just love that hair metal sound! I'm also a bit of a sports nut, but would go to a concert before a sporting event every time I'm given the choice. I'm into computers and networking a little...mostly because of my job...some because it's nice to be on the cutting edge. I also like to travel and explore new things. I'm getting more and more into playing poker after I found that I'm pretty good at it, for reasons that I can't figure out...planning on playing in the World Series of Poker sometime just because I think it would be a fun thing to do once in your life. I have a myriad of other interests, but just can't seem to find enough time to pursue most of them...but that's why life is a long period of time, so that you can get to things later on that you wanted to do but didn't have the time!!!
Myspace Contact TablesVince Lombardi, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Bill Clinton, John F Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant (fun to get hammered with I'm sure...hehe), John Dillenger, Doyle Brunson, Daniel Negreanu (outside of the poker room preferably), Alan Page, Jim Valvano, anyone with anything interesting to say, anyone willing to express their opinion openly.
Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Poison, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Black Crowes, Marshall Tucker Band, A Perfect Circle, Eric Clapton, Old School Rap (Public Enemy, etc.), Styx, pretty much any rock band from the 70's and 80's to be honest, Johnny Cash(is it possible not to like at least ONE Johnny Cash song?), Elvis, The Beatles, Sammy Hagar(no matter what band he's singing with), Willie Nelson, James Blunt (he's better in concert than you think), John Mayer, Amos Lee, Rachel Yamagata, Robert Randolph, Derek Trucks, Scissor Sisters, and Bob Dylan (save the prophet for last :))
I'm just going to list my top ten or this list would go on FOREVER!In no particular order:1. Citizen Kane 2. Bull Durham 3. High Fidelity 4. The Boondock Saints 5. The Usual Suspects 6. Rounders 7. The Color of Money 8. Unforgiven 9. The Godfather 10. CaddyshackHonorable mention:Hoosiers, Ghostbusters, From Dusk til Dawn, Pulp Fiction, and pretty much any movie with John Cusack or Johnny Depp (with the exception of "Secret Window" which was just plain dumb)
As long as it's not reality TV...I'm ok with it for the most part...I like Drew Carey, 24, Deadwood, The Soprano's, Dexter, The Office, Firefly (or anything by Joss Whedon for that matter) Real Time with Bill Maher, and my daily dose of politics with Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, and Keith Olbermann, with a possible shot of Hardball on the side! No CSI-(name of large, crime ridden town) ummmmm PERIOD.
I'm into mostly non-fiction type books like Fast Food Nation, Reefer Madness, Code, The Future of Ideas. I've read every Michael Crichton novel he has put out to date. Nothing compares to a good story, but non-fiction really peaks my interest, I find it more rewarding to learn about the world around you and add to or change your world view.
My dad...used to think he was full of shit...now I think he's pretty smart :)It's hard to put anyone up to Hero status, though any soldier who serves this country is a hero in my book.Anyone who is willing to speak their mind no matter the consequences.Anyone who can listen to someone else denounce their worldview and then defend their thoughts and ideas intelligently. (not spineless politicians who hide behind spin and talking points)
