I have twin passions, which swirl and flow around each like yin and yang. The first is medicine/health/fitness, the second is Eastern philosophy (technically, all religious philosophy). The beauty of it is that the body and mind (though the line between the two is sketchy, if not altogether arbitrary) are the clay and canvass; our lives being the product of our artistry.When not running around being active, I can be found reading, writing, listening to music, enjoying good food, and hanging out with friends.
First and foremost, people who are awake and aware...both to the world and of themselves.
Too many kinds to mention...but some things that stick out: Jack Johnson, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Bonobo, Zero 7, Boards of Canada, Radiohead (duh), Kanye West and more rap/hip-hop than I can mention here, and, perhaps oddly, Tool.

Way too many to mention, though my personal library speaks for itself (my friends hate to help me move). Primarily non-fiction. Mostly medical, fitness or spiritually related. But I also love the "classics": Ellison, Salinger, Huxley, etc.. and some more recent authors: Marquez, Moore, Palahniuk, etc...
It seems like every day I find more and more.
