About Me

Im not gonna bore you on here, just give you the basics...

Im reppin Huddersfield. I started mixing about 5 or 6 yrs ago although i've been buying vinyl for about 8-9 years.

Producing came later on about 3 yrs ago when i started college (BTEC National Diploma Music Technology)

In August 2004 Joined 1xtra as a DJ to host the UKG Mixshow

You can catch me every Friday on BBC Radio 1xtra hosting the UKG Mixshow between the hrs of 2am and 6am

I've been brought up around music all my life. I got into music at a young age. i grew up listening to a whole range of styles like reggae, hip hop, soul, jungle even calypso

From when i was 8 yrs old i started to play the saxophone. I managed to reach grade 6.

I got into garage from listening to old tape packs. At first I bought vinyl because the tunes I wanted at the time wasnâ€™t available on CD. Eventually I got my first pair of proper decks and my music career began.

I looked up to Djs like EZ, Dreem Teem, Mike Ruff Cut Lloyd.. Later on when the sound started getting darker it was all about Pay As You Go..

Producer wise in the early days the big producers for me were Dreem Teem, Wookie, Sunship, DJ Zinc, Architects, New Horizons, Tuff Jam, Todd Edwards (As I am - BIG TUNE), 7 wonders, Zed Bias, Sticky, Anthill Mobâ€¦ too many names to mention!!.
