Culture, literature, music...the cultureshock of moving to another country...especially the confrontation with another/foreign perspective on 'normal' habits... like sending a birthdaycard...haven't meet an Icelandic person who actually does it... Furthermore I like sitting with friends having a glass of wine and smoking ...bad habit but the best bad habit I have so far...
well... anyone who's fairly interesting...
Ufff.... wanna get me started... well... the biggest band ever: TOOL.... Furthermore there's a whole range of music I like: Lamb, Incubus, Killswitch Engage, Nirvana, Tori Amos, Acda en de Munnik en Blof for the Dutch people ;), Placebo, Korn, The Cure, Disturbed, Sinch, Godsmack, Alice in Chains, Waiting for Einstein, Trespass (hehe), Slipknot, Stonesour...when you start to think about it your mind overflows... last names that pop up: The Byrds, Jethro Thull, Interpol, Finger Eleven, Pearl Jam, A Perfect Circle, Counting Crows...
A little bit dreamy is always good... so Big Fish, Le fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulin, La longe Dimanche de Fiancelle. But also Ghost World, Requiem for a dream, Memento, A corpse bride, Snatch, Fight Club, and some girlie movies: Gone with the wind, Bridget Jones etc. But no horror, Still can't sleep after watching The descent...
Friends, Sex and the City, Gillmore Girls, As the world turns, Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Houswives..can't help it, I'm a girl!
I studied literature and worked in a bookshop, so the assumption is that I read a lot. Luckily I'm not a artiefartie reader... so I'll enjoy chicklit next to Shakespeare and children's books...Over 500 titles on the bookshelf and till counting.
