Horseback riding on my sister's ranch, camping, canoeing, anything outdoors. I love to paint murals, paintings, making jewlery, t-shirt design, photography, any creative crafting. I even spent a year hand stitching a traditional dear skin Plains Indinan dress for my sister to wear at rendezvous. Sailing and being near a tropical sea. Travel and road trips with fun people! Digging in the garden on a hot summer day or better yet, some archaeological dig. Decorating and creating something from nothing. Hey, anyone know where I can find a 1976 Yamaha 360SE clutch basket assembly? The basket itself, not the gears. Mine is missing a tooth.
ART
I'd like to meet:
Johnny Depp, Mel Gibson, and my future soul mate. Chaw, like that's gonna happen! What I really want to do is network with other creative people. There is a lot of talent out there...I want to find you!
Music:
Death and Heavy Metal, Old School Blues, Alternative, Classical ..grew up listening and dancing to that. Some Country and I really like Movie Scores too...ahh, I like a lot of stuff, especially my son's music!
Movies:
Current favorites; Dead Man, POTC, 300. Geeze, I love going to the movies especially with family and friends! I want explosions, lots of action, a well written script, intense drama, scary crap, futuristic, complicated plots, high adventure and great comedies. I HATE CHICK FLICKS...they are a waste of the big screen. Although, sometimes I have been known to rent one to watch alone.
Television:
I love the Sci-Fi channel, Discovery, HGTV, History and Animal Planet. Favorite shows include Heroes, Ghost Hunters, House, Stargate SG-1, The 4400 and NCIS.
Books:
I love books...I love buying them and looking at them. Now if I could just learn to read them! I guess I just have a hard time getting through Text books!
Heroes:
My Dad. He was always in my corner. He was very street wise gentile guy. Dad knew when to laugh off me being a stupid kid. He never judged me and kept me close to him. We shared lots great times hanging out in hardware stores and doing projects together. He encouraged my artwork from the time I was a toddler. He always made sure I had all the supplies I needed. He even helped me buy my guitar behind my mother's back. (She didn't want me to have one for whatever reason.) We did a lot of camping together with the Scouts and he use to tell me WWII stories for bedtime! I lost him in '76.
I sign all my artwork using his last name. Second:
My big sister Carole. We were best friends. We had 46 years of great times together. We thought alike, we both loved kids and were teachers. We had a lot of the same interests and could always rely on one another. She was always there for me. I consider Carole my guardian Angel now.
