Majik was born in Portsmouth, VA September 13, 1988. He moved to Chesapeake in 1998. His masterful production skills and versatility come from the many producers in the industry that have disappointed as well as inspired him and his musical experience in band for 5 years has also contributed to this. He started producing at age 15. As a youngster he used to beat on tables with anything he could find to make different sounds. He has continued to mold his style as time progresses. Majik became serious about producing in 2004. With placements on a couple of mixtapes, his name skyrocketed and he became well-known different states in the US. In high school, he established a group called SoundSquad. The group consists of Young Los, Beanz, DJ STC, and Majik himself. Right now Majik and SoundSquad is concentrating on getting out new material via album placements and mixtapes all while pursuing his college degree in psychology.
