The Transmitters

About Me

In 2005, Matt and brother Rick (our Kid) wanted to start a band and take over the music industry, this was the start of The Transmitters.
They had Sarah on vocals and just needed a bassist and a keyboard player to complete their line-up.
With the powers of their comrade – a keyboard genius – Konrad joined the band, they sensed this might just work.
They quickly realised as a band they were incomplete without a bassist so they found Aaron (Ronnie/Ronwaz). The Transmitters were finally complete.
The Transmitters have gone on to accomplish many things, some of which include; Glastonbury 2005 on the Unsigned Stage, The Night and Day Cafe in Manchester, Radio Stations in Balham and all the usual suspects in London.
In early 2007 NB Artist Management Limited (NBAM Ltd.) arrived on the scene.
In mid 2007 Sarah left the band, this left the boys distraught, they didn’t know what to do. Over the next six months they auditioned over 40 singers but had no luck. Then a local music guru asked them to give a singer, who originated from France, a chance. They invited her into a rehearsal for an audition, they all seemed to hit it off straight away and The Transmitters were reborn with Gloria on vocals.
With a new front girl ready they called Nick (NBAM Ltd.) to ask him to have a listen.
The Transmitters played a small gig in London Bridge where Nick first saw them with their new singer. He was impressed, “she has a great voice and really makes a difference. She completes the line-up”. It was there and then that The Transmitters had accomplished what they set out to do in early 2007, receive a Management Contract. They put pen to paper and The Transmitters acquired a sixth member of the band.
With their Management attending MIDEM in January 2008 they are sure to get noticed within the music industry.
Nick feels great things are going to happen with this band, watch this space…
