This is a list of albums I currently own. Just because it isn't on the list doesn't mean I don't like it...I just haven't coughed up the money to buy it. I like everything musical with one exception - Kenny G. I'm always open to hearing new music. If there is something interesting you would like to share with me please let me know. I love zombie movies and movies dealing with the end of the world. I'm captivated by these. I keep hoping that I will wake up some morning and I'll be the only person left alive. Evil Dead, Army of Darkness, Night of the Living Dead, Day of the Dead, Return of the Living Dead, 28 Days Later, Dawn of the Dead, The Omega Man, Phantasm, Resident Evil, Shaun of the Dead, Mad Max, 1984, Night of the Comet, The Stand, Planet of the Apes, A Boy and his Dog and Damnation Alley. All the Tim Burton Movies - Pee Wee's Big Adventure, BeetleJuice, Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, Nightmare Before Christmas (one of my favorites), Corpse's Bride, Sleepy Hollow, Batman, Big Fish, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Frankenweenie and The World of Stainboy. I like movies that make me think. I like movies that I can't make any sense of......that disturb me. A Clockwork Orange, Animal Farm, Pi, Pink Floyd - The Wall, Being John Malkovich, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Shawshank Redemption, Shindler's List - man, this list is too friggin' hard to think about. I've seen too many movies.
I now have the television back on but I don't have cable. Only standard network channels. Talk about boring. Needless to say I don't watch it much. The cable companies should offer a package where you can choose the channels you want and that's all you pay for. Okay, here's a list for those of you that like lists. House, Invader Zim, CSI, David Letterman, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Doctor Who, The Venture Brothers, The Daily Show, Space Ghost Coast To Coast, MacGyver, Frisky Dingo, Twin Peaks, Harvey Birdman Attorney At Law, Family Guy, The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Batman, Batman Beyond, Boondocks, The Twilight Zone, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Dexters Laboratory, 3rd Rock From The Sun, Fawlty Towers, Monty Python's Flying Circus, Evil Con Carne, Star Trek TNG, Star Trek, Star Trek Enterprise, Star Trek Voyager (a captian that drinks coffee...now that's hot, Justice League, Just Shoot Me, The Powerpuff Girls, Aeon Flux, Samurai Jack, Teen Titans, Time Squad.
I love Shakespeare, Kurt Vonnegut (check out the song "Cat's Cradle" on my bands website), George Orwell, Cervantes. I treat books like I do music...I find an author I like and then I have to read everything by them. Other authors include Mark Twain, Douglas Adams, Tom Robbins (I'm a red head so "Still Life With Woodpecker" really hit home). I like reading biographies about people who have influenced me or I'm just interested in. I love most of the classics. I really should read more. I spend more time reading manuals and magazines that deal with audio/video gear and engineering than I do sinking myself into a good book.
