I'm living in Groningen, North of the Netherlands which is a very young, musicminded and cultural city! I was born even more to the north, in a small village. My interests are: photography, art, music, film/video, nature, friends and travelling. Thats just a small number of things i have mentioned....I'm a vegetarian as well, which is ofcourse because of the ways the animals are treated nowadays. Even if you want to buy a woolen blanket you should check the animalcruelty! * The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated* is a word from Gandhi which reminds me of the small world we (still) live in. I have my own workspace/studio in de Puddingfabriek, an old factory where you can find lots of small cultural/mediacompanies. I'm working on my art, (experimental) photography and filmprojects. Movies:

Tim Burton movies, old animations like Jan Svankmeyers Alice in Wonderland, Puppetry-animations and more...Bram Stokers Dracula, From Hell, Lord of the Rings (extended 1, 2 and 3), Sin city (for the brilliant graphics!), Crash, City of the lost children, James and the giant peach, Legend, Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Neverending Story 1 and 2, Pan's Labyrinth, Crank and more but i dont know which one at the moment!

Television:

Carnivale, six feet under, the sopranos, cold feet, all british detectives, spoorloos (:-)), all you need is love (yep!), rome.

Books:

Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit: JRR Tolkien/Magisch Land/ Fantasybooks are most of the time my favorites. Also human interestsbooks i read (travelstories included). Ofcourse books with inspiration for my own art, like graphic novels, photographybooks and books about irish mythologie/legends, fairytales, wicca, paganism etc.

Heroes:

All people who are willing to help other people and animals to create a good environment around them and for others. Do not harm anyone in any way...I think this should be the number one achievement in your life and should be a normal way of living instead of being special.
