I LOVE....my friends,my family,Mexican food,real Italian pizza,fresh warm cookies,vanilla milkshake,hot chocolate,good guitar based music,all things Fender guitars especially Esquires and Tele's,web surfing,cats,dogs,great tone,the smell of a September day,flying,warm weather,my iPods,days off,gigs,bootlegs,live music,people that love animals,blondes,Paris,Edinburgh,Austin,kind and generous people. WOULD LIKE TO.....retire soon!

Make that I would HAVE liked to have met:Leo Fender....I'd really just have liked to thank him for creating such wonderous instruments & amps and devoting his life to the musicians cause.Then I'd ask if he had any old Tele's spare!His creations changed the face of the world on a social level but few people realise this.Thanks Leo :0) Stevie Ray Vaughan....thanks for the music,thanks for the love you passed our way....again too late.

I can't seem to find the time for novels these day...only fiction books on my shelf I'm afraid....all music,people,cat and guitar related!

Heroes:

Leo Fender,cos the world is in his debt for those single coil beauties he bestowed upon us.Not forgeting those Blackface era amps.Such vision.Not sure why but those Gibson humbucking things passed me by.Its a case of blondes or brunettes really...Kylie or Danni,or maybe not in that case. Guitar heroes include Jimmie Vaughan,Robben Ford,SRV,Albert Collins,Jeff Buckley,Chris Whitley(RIP brother),Chuck Prophet,David Grissom,Chris Duarte,Charlie Sexton,Doyle Bramhall,Richard Thompson,Danny Gatton.All these guys are unique,they have their own unmistakable tone and phrasing....and thats what makes them great in my book.So many times I see bands that have anonymous guitarists....they can play great but just sound like everyone else.
