About Me

Like everyone else...I'm complicatedly simple. I have spent a lot of time understanding myself. I would have to say, with a smile on my face, that I am one huge Juxtoposition. I love culture, history, mysterious, science, and especialy the outdoors. I believe school should stay at school, and that work should stay at work. I have always loved a good challenge, and I will seek them out in everyday life. I push my own limits everyday, sometimes out of boredom and sometimes out of curriosity, but always in order to better myself as a person. Im not realy religous, though I believe there is some higher power, but I cant stand organized religions, especially here in the US. I like to find humor in everything, and good conversations are great when they can be found. I'm incredibly shy, though most people would never notice. My driving motivations in life are to take care of my family and friends, to give everyone I meet the opportunity to relax and be themselves, and never to forget where I have come from, what I have been through, and to never stop working towards where I want to be. I'm not a party'er, I will lead when needed , or be a gracious follwer if you have earned my respect. I am very opinonated, though I rarely voice them. Let's see...I'm diabetic, used to have long hair as you proably will or have seen. I still am great friends with the same group of people I have known since about 2nd grade( truly good people are hard to come by). I can understand why so many people hate American's, though I believe in the ideas that this country stands for. I am hugely financially motivated, but only to see my friends laugh and smile and my family relax and be taken care of, that is what drives my ambition for wealth. I love to travel and have been to Costa Rica, Tennesee, North and South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia, Washington (State), Georgia, Nevada (Vegas), Vermont, the Keys, and Colorado. Put simply: Everyone is incredible...when they are true to themsleves. Ohh ya, and I cant Spell...

My Interests

I enjoy damn near everything. As already previously mentioned I love the outdoors. Fishing, camping, snorkeling, scuba, kayeking, canoeing, paintball, volleyball, baseball (which I've played all my life), basketball, raquetball, running, hiking, rock climbing, skiing, knee boarding, jet skiing. Anything you got I want to try it. Beyond challenging myself mentally, I also like a good phisical challenge. I push myself all the time just to lift a little more, run a little farther, row a little faster. But I also love to lay back and let the current take me down stream while I take notice of my surroundings. I believe the key to life is to do everything in moderation, so that you maintain some kind of balance. I also have a huge passion for cars, allways have....allways will. From the rat rods of the 1930's to the latest Ferrari FXX, to the Maybech 62. I bought my first car when I was 14, and proceeded to build and install a new motor for my beloved 1982 Trans-AM. Since than I have owned a 1992 Subaru staion wagon( Turbo and all whell drive with neumatic ride height controll :), a 1975 Corvette Stingray (which ended up being almost entirely handbuilt), a 1994 Mitsubishi 3000GT, A 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII ( which I caught all kinds of grief over, but it had the 32v mustang cobra motor), a 1979 Corvette (which I did everything but a frame off on), and now a 2005 Nissan 350z and a 2006 R1. I also love to cook, which I'm told I am pretty good at, though I suck at baking. I enjoy peaceful places with good company, cool breezes, and amazing views. I love to travel and explore. Good movies, good Vodka, the finer things in life. Seeing people smile, watching and observing the everyday events, and trying to constantly learn.

I'd like to meet:

Intelligent, curious, intersting, outgoing, and understanding people. Of course meeting "God" and the"Devil" would be interesting, but untill than ill settle for: Katie Holmes, Elton John, Osama, Chip Foose, Boyd Coddington, Trent Reznor, Bill Gates, and if I could have: John Linnon, Jimmi Hendrix, Jerry Garcia, Chris Farely, and John F. Kennedy. As far as what I'm looking for in a relationship...... a woman with intriguing eyes, no: silicone, face lifts, tummy tucks, nose jobs, or botox, open mindedness is a must. Self confidence without being an ego maniac. Intellectual and emotional strength. The ability to both lead and follow, talk things out rationally, even when emotionally involved, love of traveling, great sense of humor, ability to admit when shes wrong and argue her point when shes right. Someone who is not afraid to dream big and live even bigger. Logical in thier thoughts, at least most of the time. A desire to learn more and understand more. Someone I can trust, talk to, be challenged by when I get stubborn, and challenge and have them understand its all for fun. And though true beauty does come from the inside: I am a sucker for a woman who has nice legs and a butt that you almost need a third hand to pull the pants off of. I like brunets, and blondes as long as its real, but long dark hair is probably my favorite. I find myself genually attracted to a variety of woman, but the Bleach blonde, faked boobed, make-up covered, scantely dressed stripper/club girls I'll pass on.

Music:

Got music.......well I'll probalby listen to it. I love music of all types. I grew up listening to groups like: Santana, The Mamas and the Papas, The Eagles, Eric Clapton and Elton John, Lynard Skynard, Neil Young, Tom Petty, Simply Red, Cat Stevens, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Van Halen, Arron Nevile, Bob Segar, Creedance Clearwater, Jimi Hendrix, Bad Company, Styx, and Pink Floyd. But I think most of us in this age bracket probably heard a lot of this music growing up (Hippi Parents). I like some country, but not all that much, some blues like BB King, and as mentioned Vaughn, I like some techno (didnt everyone at some point, yes I have a friend who is a DJ...dont you?:) I also listen to Mudvaine, Metalica, Slipknot, Dave Mathews, Moby, Enya, One, Sevendust, some Slayer, NIN, Chilli Peppers, Alice and Chains, Sublime, Ozzy, Coldplay, Snoop, Dre, Ice Cube, Gravediggaz, Cypress Hill, ODB, Ludacirs, Juvenile, Nelly, 2Pac, N.E.R.D., Everlast, Korn, Hed PE, Lenny Kravits, Audioslave, Cold, Filter, Perfect Circle, 311, Rage Against the Machine, and my current new favorite Matisyahu......Alright I think you get the point...ohh yah some uhh tribal musics form distant cultures have nice beats too and some others natural sounding stuff ain't to bad either.

Movies:

Loved: Saw, Last of the Mohicans, Dances with Wolves, Matrix's of course, Jurrasic park was awsome at the time, The Professionsl, Iceman, The entire Rocky series, Any movie ever made with Pacino form Casino to Devils Advocate to scent of a woman Woohaah! There was a movie I was taken to about science and multi dimensional travel, and the possibilites of the human mind (obviously it only played at independent theaters) but that was really good, The Sandman, 13 Ghosts wasnt bad. Basically a good scare that is not just some scary "guy or thing" chasing and killing people, I like to be suprised because I rarely seam to be. A good movie of somone or some people overcoming seamingly insurmountable odds or hardships. So Either Teach me something, Suprise me, Scare the hell out of me, or give me a good "Warm Fuzzy" you know what I'm talkin about.

Television:

Discovery Channel, A&E, Travel Channel, FX, some Spike TV, Discovery Times, TNT, History Channel, Military Channel, Discovery Health, Biography sometimes, TBS, Comedy Central........Stuff like Law & Order, The Shield (I realy like), Some Fear Factor, I Shouldnt Be Alive, Survivor Man, NYPD Blue, Horse Power TV, Trucks, Extreme 4x4, Top Gear, Seinfield, That 70's Show, Family Guy (great), South Park (funny on so many levels), Chappelle Show (Perhaps the Funniest show ever created). Amazing Vacation Homes (descent show with the worst theme song ever created)...god its stuck in my head again now... I've probably seen all of the specials on all of the Discovery, History type channels......I do enjoy my "Downtime".

Books:

I hate reading with a passion, it takes to much time....thats the only rason why...yes I know that you can create the story better in your head and books are almost always more detailed thatn the movies etc., etc., but I still can do that and I prefer to relax and let the story be shown and told to me. Books just take so much time. I am currently reading Stranger from a Strange land, I also read parts of the Wall Street Journal, I have read Where The Sidewalk Ends, Dealing with Difficult Emotions (Dali Lhama), One Hundred and One Famous Poems, The Complete History of the Corvette, AutoWeek Magazine, Car and Driver, and I have read a few others as well...but I still can's spell.....

Heroes:

Corny as it sounds...My mother and Father, Grandmother, Martin Luther King jr. (dont realy care for Malcolm X), Rosa Parks, Bill Gates, Dali Lhama, JFK, Hippocrates, Davinci (perhaps the most brilliant well rounded person ever to live...in my opinion), Einstein, Galileo Galilei, Ghengis Khan, Lincoln, Rudyard Kipling, Pacino, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Cat Stevens, and people you hear stories about everyday that at least for an instant in life perform acts of complete selflessness and than downplay what they have done. Here are some closer to home ones: Andrea, and Ashlee. Always.
