Il Papas play music for the love of the art. Music is a voice of innovative expression for the members of this Boston rock outfit; breaking down all of the stereotypes to bring you unadulerated, rock music...Il Papas have been bringing music's organic nature back from the trenches: the blues is heavy, and the blues is real. The rock will blow out your windows and leave your body shaking, with a danceable edge that keeps as many feet moving as there are fists pumping. Playing at locations such as Boston's Legendary Paradise Rock Club (Boston, MA) to The Grog Shop (Cleveland, OH), Nectar's (Burlington, VT), Arlene's Grocery (New York, NY), Grape Street (Philadelphia, PA), and The Berkely Front (Detroit, MI), as well as through the fine educational institutions of America such as The Ohio State University as well as Ohio University. They have also shared the stage with Bobby Previte, Skerik, the virtuosic Charlie Hunter, Robert Walter, The Codetalkers (feat. Bobby Lee Rodgers), The Breakfast, as well as Kidnapkin, & Spiritual Rez to name a few. It would be correct to assume il Papas' word is quickly spreading across the country, be warned its time that you knew...
Formed in 2005, il Papas quickly used their deep love and appreciation for music to create a sound never heard before: ROCK MUSIC tipping the Richter Scale. Hot off their new release "INVOLUTION" (2007) recorded at Black Box Studios in Allston, MA with engineer extrodinaire A.J. Peters and their second national tour, il Papas are on an international mission to bring original music back to the masses. With members who've studied privately with some of the world's greatest musicians such as Jack Pezzaneli, Jamey Haddad, Rick Consadine, and Dave Tronzo: chops are no quesiton, but this is not just a musician's band. il Papas will melt your face.
