Music means so much to me. The Sisters of Mercy, (special thanks to my friend Sue Wave for turning me onto them many, many years ago. Thanks, you rule Sue! Even I don't tell you as much as I should, thanks for everything:) The Sisters have inspired my work in so many ways. Here that, Andrew! You made the grade. Anyway, back to music, I love all kinds of music, music is very important to me like I said. But as you'll see, I'll go from one exstreme to another, meaning, I'll listen to The Damned, Lue Reed, AC/DC then The Ramones, The Doors, to The Damned again, to Elton John to the Rolling Stones, to some Sex Pistols, to U2's Bad. The Clash, The Velvet Underground, The Rolling Stones, The Raveonettes Chain Gang of Love, some PIL, Old Aerosmith, The first two Black Sabbath CDs and an underrated CD Technical Ecstasy, about only 10 Beatles songs, The Church, Billy Idol/Generation X, Iggy Pop, Squeeze, Bauhaus, Talking Heads, Green Day, The Fiendz, The Flaming Lips,The Cure, a few Doors tunes (in the words of Mr. Morrison, it's tougher than dirt! RIP), David Bowie (big fav song, Heroes) The Wake (some other rip-off Sisters of Mercy bands) REM, They Might Be Giants, The Police, NIN, Samhain, Danzig, Misfits, Social Distortion,Warren Zenvon (RIP), Smashing Pumpkins, I love anything that's good, that's just the way it is, I keep an open mind.Some of these bands I haven't heard in years, but I grew up with them, and they will always be my favs. No order here, new loves or old: Teh Clash, Four Star Mary (best new band out there, go on the web, check them out, tell them Al Ryan sent you) The Jesus And Mary Chain, Otto's Daughter, The Sisters of Mercy, U2, Mister Monster, The Ramones, The Damned, REM, 3rd Eye Blind, The Goo Goo Dolls, The Cramps, Peter Murphy, Squeeze, The Cure, The Church, Generation X (Billy Idol) Danzig, Carly Simin, (yeah, I know), Depeche Mode, David Bowie, Bauhaus, Iggy Pop, The Velvet Underground, Green Day, Blink 182, The Police, The Psychedelic Furs, Social Distortion any band from New Jersey because we rule, if you read this far, good for you, wow, They Might Be Giants, Robyn Hitchcock, NIN, The Outfield, Queen V, The Specials, yeah, you get it by now.

Alot, but not enough, when you're a writer, it's hard to read other people's stuff, you're pretty much burnt-out on your own stuff
