My Interests

I am happy and blessed to live in a beautiful place, with a wonderful family. My philosophy? Life is a blank canvas-spend all your time putting as much paint on it as you can while you have the time.

Music:

I love it all, but listen to big band, raggae, Etta James, Alison Krauss, Amy Winehouse, Harry Connick Jr, and zydeco and jazz because I am a Mardi Gras nut.

Movies:

Gone With the Wind,Sweet Home Alabama,Fried Green Tomatoes, Steele Magnolias, Top Gun, Officer and a Gentleman, The Secretary, Skeleton Key, 61,Babe, The Guardian, Stardust, Fifty First Dates.

Television:

Family Guy, Nip Tuck, Boston Legal, Celebrity Apprentice The Obama File , by XEKE.com

Books:

Not much time to read-but I love Southern Living, Coastal Living, and Cottage Living magazines, Janet Evanovich, murder mysteries, cookbooks and historic nautical romances (I am convinced I was on a ship in an earlier life!).

Heroes:

My husband, my children, Maya Angelou, Coach Bear Bryant, my Nanny, those defending our freedom
