About Me

I'm a just another "Tart" in his "Underground Army."
Of course I'm speaking of...
Gerard James Butler
Just call him Gerry.
"My best disguise is just me. If I were to put on a mask and sweep my hair back, or if I were to grow my hair to my ass, or make myself look ridiculous, then I would get recognized."
-Gerard Butler comments on how, until now, he has escaped becoming a household name.
Of all his roles, I love Le Fantôme, Erik best!
Forever lost to the Phantom once I saw this scene!

You can always find me having a few laughs with my fellow obsessed "Tarts" and "Gals" over at:

Andrew Lloyd Webber 's stage production of " The Phantom of the Opera " is amazing and I absolutely fell in love with Joel Schumacher 's 2004 movie version of " The Phantom of the Opera " when I saw it. The stage production and the movie version are both great in their own right and both Michael Crawford and Gerard Butler have my respect for portraying such a magnificent character.
The Phantom has inspired me to start writing. I've finished my first Phantom Fan Fiction (based on the character portrayals in the 2004 movie), titled " To Be Held " and it can be found at FanFiction.net . The sequel to that story can also be found at the same site. It is titled " Truth Be Told ." This second installment continues the adventures of my previous story, with a few new characters thrown into the mix.

Recently, I released the third installment to my Phantom series, titled: " Turning of the Tide ," which is currently in progress...
I have also created a MySpace page exclusively for my Phantom series, which can be found here .
In the future, I will be writing original stories (non-Phantom related). I have plans for an action/adventure (ongoing series), as well as a romantic comedy, and a drama/thriller. Stay tuned for more information!
In my spare time I make photo manipulated images (largely Gerry/Phantom related). If you're interested, you can find my "manips" at La Maison de Roses , which is my Freewebs host site.

And now to pimp some love to my partner in crime, Kelli Kopetz, and her Christian/Rock/Pop band Amplified417 . She's the main vocals of the group and a fellow Phantom lover. Visit their page and listen to samples of live performances.

Hi Everyone!

Before we get started, I'd just like to mention that everything you see as a clickable "link" (or by clicking some images) actually does work! I promise, you will be re-directed to the corresponding sites.

P.S.
Just to clarify (because there has been some confusion), I am not Gerard Butler, nor am I affiliated with him (as you can see if you read my page). I'm just a female fan amongst the many. Don't be fooled by imitators. Read about the "Poser Gerry" threads I've linked here on my page. Educate yourselves and don't become a victim of impersonators.

NOTE: For some reason, some links (especially those directing to freeweb pages, as well as a few others), are not working correctly. A MySpace default page replaces these links, so I apologize in advance for the inconvenience. Hopefully these issues will be fixed with future updates to the MySpace site.

-†-FOR THE LOVE OF SMITH & MEWES-†-

Here's where I show some LOVE for Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes . Who in the world can top the shenanigans of Jay and Silent Bob? Nobody!

DO watch these films cause it's a travesty to go through life without adding these to the mental vault (you can take "mental vault" any way you wish...you'd be right in both cases...Ha!).

Clerks and Clerks 2

Clerks Uncensored

Mallrats and Chasing Amy

Should you enjoy those, you'll probably appreciate the madness that is Kevin Smith. His .. Diary Rocks! Enjoy the read at: My Boring Ass Life (Silent Bob SPEAKS!) .

To keep up with the latest news, I suggest visiting the View Askew Productions site. You may also find the View Askew Message Board to be quite entertaining, to say the least (I've been a member since 2004 a.k.a. AZnRose). Just make sure you leave your bra and panties at the door, ladies. As for the men, bring your wallet and prepare to lose your shirt at the poker table. (Ok, so you all know I'm teasing, but seriously, you'll love the site if you're a free spirit and open minded.)

DISCLAIMER: I'm not affiliated with Kevin Smith or View Askew Productions. I'm merely a fan amongst the many. If you are sensitive to profanity and bluntness, then his site is not for you. (But you KNOW you wanna take a peek!)

Now, before I go further into the Gerry goodness, I'd like to say a few words...

TO ALL MY FELLOW GERRY SUPPORTERS ~*Something to Consider*~
I understand that this community is a great way to connect with real life friends or family who may also have a page here, but I do caution anyone thinking Gerry has the time for a place such as this. There have been many "Wannabe Gerry" profiles out there, and though each individual has the right to believe in what they want, I'd just like to say to my fellow Gerry supporters...

"Please, think before you indulge in other people's fantasies."
Here's some links to a few of the topics at GB.Net (one of the oldest fan sites dedicated to Mr. Butler and one he acknowledges and supports):

Thread: Poser Gerry

Thread: Do you think it's really him? Is this really Gerry?

Thread: Gerard and MySpace.com

It'll give you more insight to what I'm talking about. Just thought I'd give my friends the heads up.

With that said...
ON WITH THE SHOW!

In 2007 Gerard Butler's star rises to heights unknown
Is the world prepared? His fans certainly are!
My Thoughts by Gwen

You may just be surprised that the ever-changing chameleon, Gerard "Gerry" Butler, may have been in a movie you've seen before. I admit, he never looks the same in his films. From playing The Phantom in Joel Schumacher's "The Phantom of the Opera," to other roles, such as Dracula, in Wes Craven's "Dracula 2000," what a difference in appearance, right? Well, what about his roles in the more popular, "Timeline (as Andre Marek)," or "Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life (as Terry Sheridan)." Or his role as Creedy in "Reign of Fire," opposite Christian Bale. These are films you've probably enjoyed, yet never pieced together the actor and the character he played. Yes, he's been around, but this year, the world will finally recognize Gerard Butler for his gift to entertain the masses and leave us wanting more.

In no particular order...

Gerry portrayed King Leonidas , in Frank Miller's "300." This movie is a "Must See!" Go out and support this film. You won't be disappointed!

Now Showing In Theatres and IMAX.

In Game, Gerard Butler plays "Kable." This high-concept thriller takes place in the near future, when mind-control technology has taken society by storm. In this dystopian world, the ultimate online simulation environment is humans remote-controlling other humans in mass-scale, multiplayer online gaming.

"Game" marks the third time Lakeshore Entertainment has teamed with Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor , who together wrote and directed " Crank ." The duo will write and helm "Game," which will begin filming in January. Lakeshore's Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi are producing alongside "Crank" producer Skip Williamson .

In this Untouchables prequel, Gerry stars as "Jimmy Malone." The story is about Al Capone's (played by Nicolas Cage ) arrival in Chicago, his dealings with cop Jimmy (Butler), and his subsequent rise to power.

Gerry stars alongside Jodie Foster and child star Abigail Breslin in Nim's Island (a book by Wendy Orr ). This adventure tale chronicles the exploits of Nim, a young girl living a high-tech Robinson Crusoe existence on an unspoiled tropical island with her scientist father and her best friends--a motherly sea lion, a rambunctious iguana, and a sea turtle. When Nim's father embarks on a day of research at sea, she begins an unlikely e-mail communication with an agoraphobic novelist who lives in New York City. When a storm prevents her father's return and unpredictable dangers confront Nim and the Island, she must find the resources to survive. At the same time, the novelist begins to realize that her pen pal is a little girl who is alone and in trouble. She also has to dig down for the courage to leave her safe haven and rescue Nim.

Butterfly on a Wheel (which has been renamed "Shattered") is coming to DVD! Gerry stars alongside Pierce Brosnan .

Gerry will be starring in the film Therese Raquin , alongside the incredible Glenn Close.

Burns , the story of Scotland's favorite bard, is a project Gerry will be working as soon as possible. The idea of bringing this film to the masses has never strayed far from his heart, and with the success of "300," look for it to get underway very soon!

Gerry has finished filming on Cecelia Ahern 's "P.S. I Love You," a romantic comedy with Hilary Swank . In Post Production!

After the huge success of “300,” Butler appears to have become a viable star — which we already knew, didn’t we? Wasting no time, Variety reports that CAA has attached Butler to a remake they’re putting together of John Carpenter ’s “ Escape from New York ” in the role made famous by Kurt Russell .

The remake, which is currently being sought-after by all the major distributors, will be produced by Neal H. Moritz (“ xXx ”) and written by Ken Nolan (“ Black Hawk Down ”).

Gerard Butler "may" participate in the comic to film adaptation of " Watchmen ," although no formal negotiations or commitment has been made by him to the project.

At WonderCon in San Francisco on March 3, 2007, Zack Snyder made comment that Gerard may be in this film.

Gerard has said that for his part, he hasn't spoken with Snyder about Watchmen, but would eagerly sign on to work with the director again after his experience shooting 300.

Watchmen is set in 1985, in an alternative history United States where costumed adventurers are real and the country is edging closer to a nuclear war with the Soviet Union (the Doomsday Clock is at five minutes to midnight). It tells the story of a group of past and present superheroes and the events surrounding the mysterious murder of one of their own. Watchmen depicts superheroes as real people who must confront ethical and personal issues, who struggle with neuroses and failings, and who - with one notable exception - lack anything recognizable as super powers. Watchmen's deconstruction of the conventional superhero archetype, combined with its innovative adaptation of cinematic techniques and heavy use of symbolism and multi-layered dialogue, has influenced both comics and film.

And yes, this means his previous negotiations to star in the movie Priest is a no go.

Playing the role of "One-Two," Gerry will take part in Guy Ritchie 's " RocknRolla ."

In this action/comedy, a Russian mobster orchestrates a crooked land deal, putting millions of dollars up for grabs and attracting all of London's criminal underworld. A dangerous crime lord, a sexy accountant, a corrupt politician and a band of petty thieves are among those double-crossing one another.

Gerard Butler is King Leonidas of Sparta!
And now they do!
It's hard not to fall in love with Ioan Gruffudd ...sexy Welsh hottie extraordinaire!
Alright, my "Bad Boy Syndrome" has struck yet again! I've recently been watching the " Robin Hood " BBC series, and I must say, Guy of Gisborne (played by Richard Armitage ) drives me crazy! C'mon, all you ladies must admit this guy his gorgeous!
This is him playing Mr. Thornton in North & South .
He kinda reminds me of another guy I like...a.k.a. HUGE ACKMAN -- Hugh Jackman .
And while I'm on the subject of hotties, who could ever forget Christian Bale . I know I couldn't!
Wentworth Miller ...are there words to describe the subtle way he slips underneath your skin? I'd break INto prison for this guy!
My favorite bloodsucking vampire, Neil Jackson a.k.a. Marcus Van Sciver from Blade: The Series .
And yes, I adore Patrick Wilson too. (It is indeed, that guy who played Raoul de Chagny in The Phantom of the Opera movie (definitely gorgeous without that crazy movie wig, right?).

Television:

Stargate SG-1 ! Is there anything else?

The new SG-1 Team. "Teal'c? What's with the Hair?"

Michael Shanks is the sexiest nerd on television!

He took the spot once The X-Files went into syndication,
but I still love you, David Duchovny !

Stargate Atlantis is another favorite show of mine, as of late.

Two of my favorite British comedies are Coupling
