About Me

Greetings to all who visit my page. My name is Bonnie Anne, and as you can see by my page, I appear to be a confused contradiction in my various passions and interests. On the one hand, I am very dedicated to my deep and personal faith, and on the other, I celebrate the gifts God has given us to enjoy on this earth.
The beauty of His creation, the emotional expression and beauty of art and music, and the beauty of romance in all its forms and colours.... these are the things that make my heart soar.
If you read my blogs, you will discover that I am a believer in Jesus Christ, and my walk with God is extremely important to me, despite the fact that being part of organized religion no longer is. (For reasons that shall remain private.)
One of my passions is the story of The Phantom of the Opera, in all its various incarnations at the hands of authors and filmmakers, but the 2004 film version starring Gerard Butler, truly touched my heart at a time when I feared my heart was beyond touching. As a love story, this movie resonated with me in ways difficult to explain... so much so, that I was inspired to write my own version of the story in the form of a novel, which I have been working on for over 3 years.
Please enjoy my page as it changes with the seasons. I am here to share my faith, my friendship and my gifts.

On June 10, 2006, I was given the honor of meeting my favorite actor, Gerry Butler in person, when he presented me with a very special award, for a song I composed with my son, and performed at the GBGALS fan convention in Vegas. The song I sang was an aria written to compliment my novel, Chanson de L'ange (The Angel's Song), and was dedicated to both Gerry, and to my son, Nathan.
Inspired by Gerard Butler's soulful/sexy portrayal of Phantom, I began writing my own Phantom novel, Chanson de L'ange, and I'm up to over 600 typed pages. I have hopes of publishing in the future.
Gerry saw my performance of The Chanson de L'ange aria, via a video taken by Jereme, the videographer he hired to chronicle the Vegas convention.
A Phantom inspired CD featuring the Chanson de L'ange aria, and additional tracks of cinematic, breathtaking instrumental music composed by my son, is in production for release in June 2007.
Chanson de L'ange By Bonnie Anne 2006
When I close my eyes, your face is all I see.
Your voice and spirit, ever haunting me.
Through the mists of time, and in the mirror's glow,
you are all I love.... you are all I know
Sing to me again the angel's song.
Fold me in the wings of your embrace.
Hold me close until the stars have gone,
then will I behold... your beautiful face
When I lift my eyes, your shape suddenly appears.
Your touch on my skin, still lingers through the years.
Sorrows roll away like the ocean from the shore.
My heart entwined with yours, our love forevermore
Sing to me again the angel's song.
Fold me in the wings of your embrace.
Hold me close until the stars have gone,
then will I behold... your beautiful face
When I kneel to pray, it is your soul I crave.
Red roses bloom, in the shadow of your grave.
Through the shining gates, of heaven you draw near.
I hear you call my name, your angel's song I hear
Come with me my love let's fly away.
Come the winter days grow long....
come with me and sing your angel's song
