About Me

Hails from East.St.Louis Ill and is the son of Johnnie Floyd Smith the legendary sax man from St.Louis who played with Miles Davis and Dizzy Gilliespie. Tyrone has been the opening act for Boney James, Pieces of A Dream, Aaron Neville,Regina Belle and many more. A keyboardist and a drummer who now resides in Norfolk Va. After the success of his freshman new-wave jazz cd called "THE 5TH SEAL" he is all set to release the follow-up cd called "UNBOSSED and UNBOUGHT". He has transformed into a front man, as well as vocalist; Tyrone is a babyboomer, thats why when you go to his live concerts you may hear some KANSAS, TOTO, OR ASIA type movements and licks; Or soulful KANYE WEST type grooves {THEY ARE BOTH FROM THE MIDWEST}. Never-the-less from the pool table to the kitchin floor Testy's music is always cohesive to the heartbeat of a warm blooded women.
