Hi Altsocians!! And all you future Altsocians!
Welcome to the Altsoc Myspace, the Society where we are all barmy about music!!! We're the ones for you if you like anything from indie to electro, to emo, to punk, to "alternative", to rock, to northern soul, to grindie, to hip hop (only the good stuff mind!) to chillout, to ska, to...well anything really! we're all barmy about moosic! We all have different tastes (causing conflict many a time...futureheads are clearly the best band EVER!)...which makes it all the more fun, because you never know what band/style of moosic you'll be introduced to!
If you were a member last year...welcome back!! I expect you all to rejoin this year so we can make it the society of the year two years running....and if you didnt join last year...then why the hell not?!!!

Why Join Altsoc?
- We made society of the year last year and we plan to do it again!! Amazing events... like gig nights with Brum and UCE Indie Soc, (a great way to meet new people) pub quizzes with the chance to win gig tickets In Altsoc were gig fanatics! We’re always up for a gig and best of all suggest a gig and we’ll get discounted gig tickets and all altsocians will be there! Discounted entry to club nights at Birmingham Barfly… We shall also be taking you all to club nights around the uk, and if you're lucky I shall take you to my part of the world...liverpool!! The best people to guide you to all the amazing alternative clubs in Birmingham Altsoc pub crawls… fancy dress of course The webmaster is a great gay but still manages to get a girlfriend and the marketing girl is super hot!! And most importantly everyone is sooooooooo friendly. We're all up for a laugh, having a good time, and getting slightly (yeah right...understatement of the year!)drunk, at the BEST clubnights in brum...and generally around the country!!
Remember though...its YOUR society, so if you think we need to be doing something we're not...TELL US so we can make it better!!!
