I'm a video game addict - my dad started me on Wolfenstein and Doom back in the day and it's all been down-hill from there (so I just blame him for my addiction). My favorite game of all time is Beyond Good and Evil, but I also love Black and White and The Sims. I use to be addicted to World of Warcraft, but my playing has significantly decresed due to a heavy school schedule, work, and a desire to maintain a social life among both. I'm addicted to YTMND and other comedy-sites like that...I can browse through them for HOURS if I get the chance.
My Favorite YTMNDs:
Batman Ualuealueale!
Arnold Enjoys YTMND
Conan Alligator! - I want that music as a ringtone!!!
Friends (from school, WoW, or new ones) and gentlemen with a sense of humor. I don't add just anyone to my friend list. I need to talk with you at least a little bit first. Otherwise we're not really "friends" anyways!
My 2 favorites are Fiona Apple and Coldplay. Most of the music I like falls into the "90's Alternative" or "Indie" categories, but I'm not limited to those genres. I consider Not a Pretty Girl by Ani DiFranco my theme-song (or at least one to live by). Recent favorites: Abra Moore and Portishead.
I'm notorious for watching my favorite movies over-and-over-and-over again. I'm a huge fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger movies (my favorite is True Lies) but my favorite movie ever is Die Hard. Favorite genres: Science Fiction, Comedy, Action, and Period-movies. I'm ashamed to say I have a few favorite chick-flicks and I'm too much of a wimp to handle horror movies or anything graphic. Recent favorites: Troy, Blood Diamond and Fifth Element.
I don't watch much TV, but I watch and re-watch DVD series of shows that I love....like Futurama, Firefly, Sports Night, and Everybody Loves Raymond. I can never resist an episode of America's Funniest Home Videos.
A lot of my favorites fall into the Sci-Fi category. I love Ray Bradbury (especially The Martian Chronicles). I also enjoy the Harry Potter series and Wally Lamb's books. I'm currently taking an honor's class on J.R.R. Tolkien (yes, I'm a total dork) so I'm feverishly TRYING to read his work (what is it about reading on a schedule that takes all the fun out of even my favorite books?).
I have a life-long obsession with super-heroes - I've always wanted to be one. I love the Tick live-action series, City of Heroes (though I never play any more) and any super-hero movie (yes, even Unbreakable and Sky High).
But in reality my Grandma is my biggest hero....she's the strongest woman I've ever met.
