About Me

I enjoy intelligent conversation and dark humor. I loathe bathroom (and any otherwise) base humor. I lean toward Dennis Miller, Dennis Leary, George Carlin (except his body humor) and Bill Hicks. There is no God, there is only man's potential which is largely wasted solely upon the pursuits of sex and money. Since there is no God, marriage is a farce, a tool of the government and is still nothing more than the sale of a woman to a man (its a wonder females still go for it after the whole "womens' lib" thing). Political terms are stupid. "Left wing", "right wing" or "liberal" terms used for nothing more than slander and I refuse to categorize myself in anything which I participate. I'm not a vegetarian. Believe it or not, humans ARE omnivores; designed to eat both vegetables and meat. If meat is truly unhealthy and is to be shunned, its little more than postponing the inevitable. EVERYONE dies ... its better to enjoy life for a short while than to trudge down a slightly longer, far more boring road. And finally, I'm not a humanitarian. Humans, in their essence, have always destroyed what lay around them for their own comfort and convenience, so the humanity debate is pure hypocracy. Don't be a humanitarian, be conscientious. Don't Believe ... evolve.

My Interests

Roleplaying (WW, D&D, M&M), video games (PS2, PC), expanding-knowledge-of/playing guitar

I'd like to meet:

This isn't some attempt on my part to find my "perfect match", there's plenty of other sites for that. I'm primarily looking for good conversation. I can talk to most people, whether shared interests or no, though if you annoy me, don't worry I'll let you know. Honesty is the greatest virtue ... lying is for those with absolutely no qualities with which to entertain others. Be yourself and let others be themselves. The world would be a better place.

Music:

****Changing****There's so much I can't stand anymore. Composing real music has strickened my tastes in others' music. The Blues are so boring and bland in their three step progression ... give me a little variety.
Classic Rock
-The Beatles
-Led Zeppelin
-Black Sabbath
-Pink Floyd
-Jimi Hendrix
-The Who
-King Crimson

Rock
-Thrice
-Tool
-A Perfect Circle
-Hum
-Faith No More
-Weezer
-Smashing Pumpkins
-Tenacious D
-Guns N' Roses
-Deftones

80s Metal
-Megadeth

Grunge
-Soundgarden
-Sonic Youth
-Alice in Chains
Old country is far better "gangsta" than gangsta rap (and far more accepted back in its time than any other form of music these days ... stupid baby boomers)
Industrial
-NIN
Classical
-Wolfgang Amadae Mozart
-Joseph Haydn
-Johann Sebastian Bach
-Johannes Brahms
-Beethoven is ok--though despite popular opinion, he was not ALWAYS completely deaf ... it was deafness that was ending his career.
Then of course, there's neo-classicalists, I guess you could call them, like:
-Danny Elfman -Graeme Revell -John Williams -Basil Poledouris -Tyler Bates -Howard Shore
Fuck the rest. Someone please do something DIFFERENT!!!
n/A is gone, new project can be found here: Very Away . Any interested in contributing, contact me. I obviously don't do pop bullshit and modern rock is atrocious. Sub-genres suck ass. Agree.

Movies:

Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Equilibrium, 28 Days Later, Big Trouble in Little China, Young Guns I & II, Secret of NIMH, Fight Club, Cloverfield, Léon - The Professional, Evil Dead trilogy (You can never go wrong with Bruce Campbell - except for Bubbahotep ...), American History X, Batman Begins, Superman Returns, 12 Monkeys, The Crow, X-Men II & III, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Pirates of the Carribean I, II & III, Clerks I & II, Chasing Amy, Mallrats, Pi, The Fountain, Unbreakable, Conan the Barbarian, Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, Ed Wood, Big Fish, Fifth Element, The Messenger, Tombstone, Empire Strikes Back, the Spiderman and Harry Potter films.

Television:

24, Bill Maher, the Daily Show, Heroes and (as for the defunct series) M*A*S*H, Space: Above and Beyond, Firefly, Brisco County Jr, X-Files and Dead Like Me.

Books:

Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, Charles Dickens, Dan Brown; Homeland and Servant of the Shard by R.A. Salvatore (I hate most of the rest of his books ... but its all about Artemis Entreri); The Gunslinger, It and 'Salem's Lot by Stephen King; Harlan Ellison, George Orwell, J.R.R. Tolkien, Neil Gaiman, George R. R. Martin, Eoin Colfer and many more.

Heroes:

"Heroes" abuse celebrity.
