Big Slik

"Big Slik" is a three piece funk, rock, jam, good time bunch of kids trying to enjoy and entertain all at the same time. They hail from Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor MI and play tunes from funk to classic rock and originals that are not quite what the covers are, but are funky and rock all the same. The boys of "Big Slik" met in 2000 in a six piece band called "Chowder" that played around the local area for about 2yrs. Dale, Mike, and Cesar decided to still get together to play sold out shows in their basement for little over a year until they put new material together in 2004. With a little old, little new, and a little rearranging, they have a blast playing anytime they can.
