LIKES:green tea (esp. peach-flavored) painting faux art, learning new words, eating, Esquire magazine, crossword puzzles, forbidden naps, watching my boyfriend drum, photography (my new camera: Canon Powershot S3 IS is flippin' 'tastic), bashing narrow-minded individuals, eating, really good jokes, sarcasm, eating, reading books by good writers (and no Stephen King isn't one of 'em), editing your grammar, eating, mysteries, eating, board games, investigative reports, eating, getting massages, the sound of someone typing DISLIKES: psychos who stalk myspace pages so they can bitch about someone else's business in their blogs; shallow people who only care about the latest short-lived fashion trends, leg warmers & Uggs (sorry all you think-you're-cool fashionistas, even if you are gay, even if you are from a HUGE city like Columbia, they make you look stupid), having a burnt tongue, when people say PITCHER instead of Picture, braggarts, ex-roomies (minus Cara and Jeni), receding hairlines, people who make fun of fat people, people who forget the true meaning of Jesus and instead try to sell the Christian industry, R&B artists that don't know how to create their own hooks in songs and have to remake oldies, disloyal friends, ex-friends who like to complain and make excuses, wet socks and overhead lights
Why did this go back to being WHO I'd like to meet, when it should be WHOM. Grrr... anyway, I'd like to meet Woodward and Bernstein, someone who likes crossword puzzles more than me, the 59,054,087 people who are ignorant enough to vote for Bush, Steve Carell, the REAL Jack the Ripper and Mandy Moore.

I finish a book every 5 days or so... Regrettably, I'm not a lover of classics, nor those pretentious books that everyone "cool" reads, like Kerouac and so forth. I get my book recommendations from www.curledup.com....
some recent faves I recommend for YOU: A PRayer for Owen Meany by John Irving, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the NIght Time, anything by Tom Robbins; fun reads by Mary Kay Andrews; A Graceful Plenty by Sheri Reynolds; Narcissus Ascending by Karen McKinnon; CENTER OF EVERYTHING by Laura Moriarty;ABOUT THE AUTHOR by John Colapinto; Thief of Souls by Ann Benson; EVERY GOOD AND PERFECT GIFT
Brenda Jernigan; Double Stitch by John Rolfe Gardiner; Land of the Blind by Jess Walter; Sleep Toward Heaven by Amanda Eyre Ward
Nancy Drew. And my stuffed monkey Mitch. He's been there for me through it all.
