Reno Rojas (Cookie), a strong leader and presence in the music industry, joins the management team at TourDog Entertainment as a Manager. Reno Rojas has already executed a significant voice to acts in our roster and is currently working with hip hop artist Big Sloan (Platinum Thug/ Universal Records) and Boss Playa aka Iceola.Born and raised in NYC, Reno Rojas started in the music industry in the early 80's as the frontman for notable acts such as "Walk the Chalk", and as the bass player for "Tyger, Tyger" and "Dr. Butcher"( Dr Butcher included members from Savatage, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and Jon Oliva). Not only did he perform in these acts, Reno also Co-produced their albums, except for Dr. Butcher, having the success of five songs making it to national airwaves as top hits with simultaneous air play. Songs include, 'Harley David Son of a Bitch', 'Desert Romance', 'Blood from your Broken Heart'. He then wrote the walk on music for Three Doors Down on their first live music tour.Reno went on from here to explore a variety of trades in the music industry such as producing and recording artists as well as producing, promoting, and designing shows. Over the years, he has received recognition with Team Fantasy/ Warner Bro. for his work along with Dave Kennedy (The Radio) The other have of Children of the beat, on albums with Techno artists on EURODRIVE Japan.Due to his professional work ethic, Reno has earned the relationships in his career.. Working with top people in the industry such as: Ozzy Osbourne, Jason Newsted, Phil Green (engineer), Jimmy Miller (producer of Rolling Stones), Faith Evans, Big Boy, Outkast, FAVA Records, Erykah Badu, Solange Knowles, Bob Dylan, Ricky Martin, Elephant Man, Carrot Top, Three Doors Down, Sony Japan, Children of The Beat, No Doubt, and Snoop Dog..to name a few.Currently, Reno resides in Tampa, FL, his home for the last 20 years. When he is not producing top acts, he has his "hobbies" that he is well known for. Such as designing and engineering some of the best light and laser shows known to man, DJ'ing, and playing an active role in his media community. His love for planes, music and the industry shows in his achievements thus far.
