About Me

The Waiting Room is a four piece rock band from Johannesburg. The project began in February 2005, when Ryan ( vocalist / guitarist ) and Jason ( drummer ) got together to rehearse some of the original material Ryan had written over the last 3 years.Realising the obvious need for a bass player, the short lived 2 piece went in search for musicians whose vision matched that of Ryan and Jason's. After using session bass guitarists, Mike ( ex-Amersham ) joined the band in September 2005 as a permanent solution.
