Nature Collected Boa

Sweeter Than Destruction!

About Me

Nature Collected Boa started a few years back as a creative outlet for South Louisiana multi-instrumentalist Artie Curole, who teamed up with UPpressors singer Rueben Williams to finally get the project off the ground. The project was mainly influenced by the 80s scene they grew up in (post-punk, new wave, darkwave, gothic, etc.), but also draws upon hard rock and progressive rock influences. The self-titled debut was completed in Curole's tiny home studio (next to the washing machine) in 2003 and featured mainly Williams on vocals (with some vocals by Curole) and Curole performing most music.Recording for the second record has begun, now that Curole finally finished his "real" studio. The new studio environment has already affected the sound due to the allowance of live drums and more experimentation. The new record should be released in 2006 with songs making their way here throughout, and the band hope to have a few more local musicians make cameo appearances on the new project. Stay tuned!
