About Me

Chad Lee's www.rockconcertfotos.com first hit the internet in 2002. The website itself has had a few makeovers since it's inception. The first year I was online I drew about 100,000 hits to the site, I now draw anywhere between 20-30,000 hits per month.
The most recent version of the site having been created by Ezrasweb.com and premiered in late December of 2005. I have been consistantly delivering great rock and roll photos to fans and the industry ever since. My work has been seen worldwide in magazines like Guitar World, Guitar Player, Guitar One, Hit Parader, Revolver, Metal Edge, and many many more. You may have also seen my work featured on dvd's, tv shows, music videos, cd's, posters, t-shirts, promo materials, and most recently even a photo on the cover of the Playstation video game Guitar Hero. It can also be seen in books, guitar tab books, the cover of The New Wave Of American Heavy Metal, product packaging and much more.
If you are a band, record company, publicist, magazine editor etc... I am always available for hire, and always deliver the goods, and I love to travel.
I have spent between 1-3 weeks of the past 4 summers travelling with the Ozzfest tour across the country as Zakk Wylde / Black Label Society's photographer, covering their performances nightly as well as candid and behind the scenes photos of them as well as the other artists on the tour.
I have made several great friends along this journey in the business and look forward to watching it grow over the coming years. In no particular order I would like to personally thank a bunch of people that have been very helpful in helping me build my career and people i consider true friends: Zakk Wylde, Tm Bolin, my close peronal friend and late guitar god "The Idol" Dimebag Darrell, everyone in the BLS band and organization, Kerry King-his tech Armand and everyone in Slayer, all the members of SOiL, Allen at ESP guitars, Nick Bowcott, Pat Lachman, Vinnie Paul, Anthrax, Slipknot, Shadows Fall, Stone Sour, John5, Marcus Schaeffer and all the people behind the scenes like the guitar techs I have met and beome friends with along the way, tour managers, stage managers, lighting directors, etc. Anyone not on this list, YOU KNOW who you are,and I thank you all. Most of all my friends and family that have stood by me and enouraged me to chase this dream. Brian-aka "Cash" here at myspace, who has been my running mate since the begining, who has taken time off of work and out of his personal life to travel the country with me on this incredible journey, carried and help set up my equipment, driven across the states while I slept, helped me out of the busses, bars, dressing rooms, etc..many of nights after having too much of a great time, poured me into taxi's, etc.... Thanks for being there bro ! I've carried you out of just as many if not more...how about just one more double Black Tooth ?
Companies that I have proudly served with photos include but not limited too:EMG pickups, ESP guitars, BcRich guitars, Warwick/Framus guitars and basses, Marshall amps, Korg, Dunlop, Washburn guitars, Pearl drums, Sonor drums, Fender guitars, Dirtbag Clothing,Ghs, Dean Guitars,Samson Wireless, Tonepros,Roland, Kahler and many many more.
I'm sure I will add to this as time goes on. Again, if you are in need of high quality live or studio images , do NOT hesitate to contact me.
If you are music fan in general, stop by the site and enjoy my work. Hopefully you enjoy seeing at as much as I do creating it. Be sure to check the site regularly as I try to add content as often as possible, and I have a diary section that I update regulalry, letting you know where, I've been, where I will be, upcoming shows and shoots, where my most recent work can be seen, etc.

My Interests

Of course music, photography and travel are my biggest interests. Otherwise, I try to spend as much time as I can on my Harley, kind of a bitch living in the midwest though, great riding days are few and far between. I enjoy relaxing at home with good friends and family with cold malty beverages when I am not working. Also a self proclaimed video game junkie.

I'd like to meet:

That's a tough one.....as far as the music industry goes I have been fortunate enough to meet and become good friends with alot of people I grew up listening to and looking up to.. A few that I can think of would include: Paul McCartney, Stephen King, Keith or Mick from the Rolling Stones.
In general I like to meet like minded people from all over the place.

Music:

Wide array of musical tastes from all genres.
Top three favorites of all time would be Kiss, Slayer and Pantera.
Other bands you can find on my Ipod include: Damageplan, Ozzy, Black Label Society, Bob Marley, Anthrax, Megadeth, Metallica, Motley Crue, Judas Priest, Slipknot, Shadows Fall, The Mercy Clinic, Hatebreed, The Haunted, Rob Zombie/ White Zombie.
l also still love and listen to all the 80s and 90s "hair bands" Tesla, Ratt, Posion, Cinderella, Slaughter, you get the idea..laugh if you must.
The classics: Beatles, Grateful Dead, Black Sabbath, Cheap Trick, Ted Nugent, Alice Cooper, Bob Seger, Johhny Cash, and a shitload more that I cant think of off the top of my head.

Movies:

I love all the slasher/gore/horror movies : Friday the 13th's, Halloween's, Nightmare On Elmstreet, Dawn Of The Dead, Army Of Darkness, Saw, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, etc... WAAAAAAAY too many to list
Love comedies, and anything in general that can hold my interest, otherwise, I'll fall asleep.

Television:

I don't find a time for much tv these days, but when I do it seems that most of it is cartoons: The Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park. Otherwise, I enjoy The X-Files, Law and Order-all versions, Lost, Married With Children will always be one of my all time favorites.
I can also get easily distracted and lost in alot of the stuff on Discovery channel, or the few music related shows they still play on Vh-1. Anyone out there have all the old-school " Headbanger's Ball" episodes on tape or dvd ????

Books:

Biographies are about the only kinds of books that can keep my attention.

Heroes:

My mother, my grandfather and the dearly departed and eXtremely missed Dimebag. R.I.P
