i'm a shy, goofy, iconoclastic, scruffy nerd with a few kinks, a bizarre sense of humor, a good head on my shoulders and an amazing and talented boyfriend. i like to stay physically and mentally fit, i'm reasonably smart, pretty much a loner when my friends let me get away with it, slightly pervy, moderately weird, and terribly wicked when i want to be.
i'm very much an unconventional aquarian with my moon in virgo, swimming upstream in a conventional world...it can be difficult and lonely sometimes.
i appreciate both the sacred and the profane, both ends of the same stick.
i like to solve world problems over a bottle of wine.
i don't judge books by their covers, candy bars by their wrappers or people by their clothes or music.
i despise intolerance, ignorance, closed-mindedness, judgmental people, meanies and hoarders of knowledge.
i love the act of creation in all its forms, and get almost as excited by random acts of destruction, both natural and manmade.
i'm spiritual in my own way and believe only what my personal experience on this earth has taught me, not what others want me to believe. no one has the right to tell others what to believe, how to practice those beliefs or whether they're correct.
my favorite places to travel are paris and disneyland. and mexico. and italy. and greece. and amsterdam. pretty much anywhere i go is my favorite place. especially amsterdam and disneyland...for similar but contrasting reasons.
i'm a huge disney nerd, have a disneyland season pass even though i live in the northwest, and am the videocast host for a fan-based disney podcast ( windowtothemagic.com ).
