About Me

I have stood at the top of the Pyramid of the sun in Mexico.
I have been to the "Golden Triangle," Where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet.
I've seen Brazil from the steps of Corcovado.
I walked the full length of the Fushimi Inari Shrine in the mountains of Kyoto Japan.
There are others places I have visited and there are more that I hope to add to my list. I love to travel and experience cultures from all over the the world.
I love to learn new things and as friends always point out...I am always taking some class or working on learning some new skill. Right now it is learning Spanish..(Ahora, yo puedo hablar y entiendo un poco castellano, pero yo queiro aprender mucho mas. Alguien quieres ayudar me?). I am also working on a degree in Culinary Arts (Yes chef school), can I cook for you?
I love meeting people and having fun. For the most part, you will rarely see me without a smile on my face. Even though i'm not smiling that much in my myspace pictures(my trying to be sexy face). I like dancing and exercising and try to take good care of my body.
Some of you may know my alter ego SpclDrkChclt . He has been poking his head into my myspace page quite often recently. He's a pretty nice guy but be careful around him, he is always up to mischief and for some strange reason...getting naked. My Interests

I have a strong desire to see places and do things that lots most of my friends and family would not think to even try. I don't watch much TV (My co-workers did get me into Battlestar Galactica though).My main interest is Capoeira. It takes up more of my free time than anything else I do. If you dont know what capoeira is, It is a brasilian martial art that was developed in Brasil by the african slaves there. My other main interest is Snowboarding. I started a few years ago. Though I am not as good as I would like to be, I am not bad at all and I like to go as often as I can. This season I bought a season pass to June ( Mammoths lil brother) and Mountain High.

Music:

My taste in music is similar to my taste in women....It spans the globe;). Today I listened to Chambao( flamenco chill), Jah Cure (Reggae), Putumayo World Mix (I have about 70 of there world cd's) I always have a couple of thier Cd's on my Mp3 player.

Movies:

Anything that can hold my attention for the duration of the film. Be it a Sci-fi, a thriller, something funny, or anything that makes me think a lil bit differently after I am finish watching it.
The last movie I watched was "The DaVinci Code." It was not bad, of course, I liked the book more.

Television:

Food Tv, Fit Tv, Discovery, Fine Living and lifetime tv for women....haha, just kiddin on that last one.

Books:

Cookbooks, Escoffier, Le Repoitoire de la Cuisine, Larousse Gastronomique. Dan Brown's(author of "The Davinci Code") "Angels and Demons," the best fiction novel I ever read. "The Game" by Neil Strauss. That book changed my life.
