My Interests

Movies, Writing, Cooking, Photography, Travel

I'd like to meet:

I am always interested in meeting anyone who shares my passion for movies (and TV). I'm also interested in meeting positive, motivated cool people.Personally, I would love to meet people in the Charlotte area. I recently relocated to this area and I'd especially love to meet some cool girlfriends to hang out with.

At the same time, I'm not interested in casually hooking up with some MySpace dude so if that's what you are looking for ... keep looking.

Music:

Jill Scott, Sting, Gerald Levert, Angie Stone, Old School R&B, Classic Rock, anything 80's ... just about anything but country!

Movies:

As a reviewer, I see at least two movies a week. Some all-time favorites would include: The Usual Suspects, Airplane!, Ocean's Eleven, just off the top of my head. This year some favorites have included: Akeelah and the Bee, Inside Man, The Departed and Casino Royale. Looking forward to DreamGirls!!!

Television:

24, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Prison Break, American Idol.

Books:

Books I've read recently include: Writing Screenplays that Sell and Your Best Life Now

Heroes:

The Original DivaSoulSista

Today would have been my mother's 66th birthday. Although she died over 20 years ago, she still looms larger-than-life in my mind. She was the original DivaSoulSista.   If I could do it again and...
