My taste in films can be called odd and all over the place. I LOVED the 80's and most of it's cheesy movies. My fav all time film is The Color Purple(not cheesy at all). Also LOVE horror movies. ????? Im a writer who hates to read...how crazy is that? Well, that's not totally true...i like to read screenwriting technique books and screenplays. I really love writing movie reviews and screenplays. My latest screenplay, MYa's TRUTH, earned me a coveted spot in Film Independent's Project:Involve Mentor program. I was also selected for the Writer's Guild Independent Writer's Caucus because of that same script. I'm so proud of it! BTW, check out an excerpt from it on my blog page. It's a poem that I wrote for my main character Mya, who has major self esteem issues. Also, my 3rd script Mr. and Mrs. Santa has gotten me a meeting at Simmons-Lathan(Russell Simmon's production company).
