With over 14 years experience as a pr in the UK, Duff Battye has run Duff Press independently for seven years (Duff previously worked for Virgin and then Arista/BMG).
Previous clients include Aerosmith, The Artist (Prince), Puff Daddy, Outkast, Run DMC, Judas Priest, Westside Connection, Slayer, TLC, Pearl Jam, Thin Lizzy, Meat Loaf, Lacuna Coil, Ice T, Cassius, Way Out West, Perry Farrell's Satellite Party, Lordi, Megadeth, Alice In Chains, Joseph Arthur and Usher.

We have also consulted for Gibson guitars, RCA Records, Hard Rock Hell festival, Eastpak, Jackie Cooper PR (Snickers account), MTV and 21st Century Leaders (charity involving bands such as Green Day, Mastodon and Ozzy). The consultancy for 21st Century Leaders involves running press campaigns on behalf and in conjunction with the likes of Vans, Virgin megastores and Bravado merchandise.
Duff Battye was shortlisted for the 2005 Music Week Awards “PR Campaign of the Year†for his work with Velvet Revolver. In one year Duff Press placed 24 national covers on the band in a campaign lasting 16 months.
Duff Press also run the label Maybe Records. In 2004 the label successfully released the debut album “And The Frog Says†by Lacuna - "Their stunning blend of Tool's rolling, complex rhythms and the fuzzed up power of Kyuss looks set to have a massive impact" – Kerrang Introducing piece. The label gives Duff Press a working experience of distribution, retail and production aspects of record releases. maybe Records will be releasing new records by Sucioperro and We made God in late 2008...
Duff Battye has formerly signed a number of record deals as an artist (including Mercury Records)- giving him and Duff Press a unique insight into pr from a bands perspective. Duff has also written for the likes of The Sunday Times, GQ (US), Clash magazine, TV Hits and Sport Diver as a freelance journalist
