LACUNA:formed in early 1998, LACUNA first released the ep „non-reflecting“ (1999). the band toured heavily and subsequently came to the attention of producer guido lucas (who produced their eponymous second ep in December 2000)
throughout this time the band were starting to garner critical acclaim across germany – including picking up vision’s magazine’s newcomer 2001 award, securing a slot on the legendary bizarre festival and touring with the likes of emil bulls, mother tongue and sun.
in april 2002, the first full length cd „and the frog says…“ was recorded in a week, once again in the blubox studios (blackmail, harmful...) with legendary producer guido lucas. In 2003, “and the frog says…†was released in germany, switzerland and austria on meisterbetrieb/alive ag distribution. in the UK “and the frog says…†was released through maybe records on the 31st january 2005. maybe records is a new independent rock label distributed in the UK through shellshock/pinnacle (sub pop, meshuggah, minus, defenstration).after building a substantial live reputation , LACUNA will release their follow-up record NUEE ARDENTE in Germany on july 4th, 2005
