Lady Lykez, from Finsbury Park, has been writing, recording and performing for five years and there's no stopping her now. In Atlanta she has recorded with Malachi of The Dungeon Family in Atlanta, showcased for Big Boi's Purple Ribbon label and stormed the notorious open mic night at Club Apache in downtown ATL. She recently completed an album in Africa with Akala, Bashy, Kele Le Roc, Silverstone and others on a unique project called Routes to Rootz.
Back in the UK, she's been on air with Phoebe One, Foreign Beggars Zane Lowe and Rob Da Bank with her debut single "Tryna Get To Da Booth" while her live show has supported Method Man and Redman on their UK tour earlier this year as well as Glastonbury, Rise, Hip Hop Kemp, T in the Park and Underage Festival.
Lady Lykez is currently recording her debut album with producers John Hendicott (Pink Punk, Chipmunk, Jamie Woon) and Scratcha DVA (BBC Radio 1Xtra) and her mix tape "Let it be Known", with friend and co-rapper Bitter, is out now.
