WHO IS Tec Dif?
All right I know there's a couple of you out there thinking "Iesha Iesha you are the girl that I never... " No I never get that very clever, original. Nah it's okay though, sometimes I open up the show with that song, bit of an ego boost. Anyway I'm from DC, and no I do not like go-go. Don't even ask. But I might play some Chuck Brown if you're nice. So I moved to LA to do the grad school (four to five years of misery and poverty) thing. And this is partially how I keep sane. Fun fact: I have an almost pathological aversion to the word "sexy" in a love song. From me you're going to be hearing some old school, because my parents raised me right. I'll also take care of most of the new indie rap, then I'll throw in a little jazz when the mood hits me, and of course a little blues and funk. If you're checking out the website, or if you're listening to the show, especially if you're listening to the show, I love you and that's a fact. Okay it's an over statement, but I still like you.
WHO IS DJ2 DEUCE?
Founder and chief executive officer of Truth and Soul Enterprises. Former chair for UCLA's Afrikan Student Union at UCLA. DJ2 is a producer, an emcee,(More info soon...)
WHO IS AMIN?

The elusive, mysterious, and often times FUNKY, Amin is unknown to many, adorned by few. Relocating to sunny Riverside, California from the mid-East in 1986, Amin soon made his presence felt. After inheriting his uncle's dual-cassette deck ghetto blaster, he started to experiment with music--"remixing" hip-hop tracks using the infamous pause-edit technique (today's equivalent to "chopped" Dirty South rap). A few years later he bought a 4-track and landed his first job as an audio engineer for a local Orange County comedy group The N.J.B. After finishing high school, Amin's creative sounds and soulful sample-based beats led to the minor collobration with Inland Empire hip-hop entreprenuer Nima Rekahse and Omran Bahia, recording several tracks on SaintRemy Records.
Today Amin has put aside music and recently graduated from UCLA in 2006. When he's not hosting Urban Roots radio, Amin spends his time being socially and politically consious, studying history, reading, being unemployed, collecting obsure hip-hop records and California postcards.
