Layout made by Jackie Lynn My name is Sherry. I was born in Los Angeles CA...but moved to Tennessee with my parents, who were originally from here, when I was 6. I've always considered myself to be a little bit different than most of the people I live around. Not any better, not any worse....just different. I've never really fallen into any one certain clique. I get along very well with almost anyone...no matter whether it's someone with a lot of money, living in a mansion, or someone living in a tar paper shack. I always seem to find myself somewhere in the middle, and have something in common with most people in one way or another. I'm not what a person would call "well -to-do", nor am I what one would call a "redneck"...but I admit that I have a little bit of both running thru my blood, and proud of that fact. I'm a mother of two boy's, ages 17 and 9. I've been divorced from their dad for almost 3 years now. I've been living on my own for most of that time. It was me who left, not him...he would'nt, so I did....Rather than wasting time, money,and what was left of my sanity, fighting it out over material things,I just left him with it all and started over on my own, with nothing much to speak of. The boys took the option of staying at the house, their "comfort zone"......with their dad, but live only 10 minutes away from me and are always in touch, in my life, and in my heart. Some may not think much of this...some may say that I gave up on them, or abandoned....but if a person has'nt been where I have, then they'd never understand all the reasons why I've done what I have. It all comes down to a matter of emotional self preservation, doing whatever you must, in order to be there for the ones you love the most...even if it means giving up being with them 100% of the time.I enjoy my friends on myspace, and give almost anyone a chance to be friends. I have a lot of friends here that I've known for a long time....some, even before myspace came along...some I've met in person, some not. A lot of you are also considered to be Angels, sent to me, at times when I felt that had no one. I like meeting all different kinds of people. I don't care what you look like....really, what matters to me is on the inside...in your heart. If you treat me with kindness and respect, that's what you'll get in return....but if not, most likely, I won't have anything to do with you. Having to start over is never easy on anyone...I was a stay at home mom for 12 years. When I realized it was time to leave...I went out and got a job, my own place, and found out that was'nt enough...so I took on another job. I work 12 hour days most of the time, so I'm not always on here as much as I'd like to be. If you don't hear from me for a while, just know that it's because I'm working or busy doing real life everyday things that have to be done....It dos'nt mean that I don't want to be your friend anymore. Drop me a line, say "hey", send me a comment, kick me in the head, LOL...I'll get back to you as soon as I can :) Although myspace is a great place to meet people...and can lead to more serious relationships in real life, just remember not to take it too seriously...you can't always believe everything you see here, or assume to know everything about a person, only by what you see here. I enjoy a good joke, a good laugh or comment. That's the main reason I signed up in the first place...for a good laugh now and then. You may notice some racy comments on my page or may even get one out of the ordinary from me at times....don't freak! It dos'nt mean I'm some kind of wierdo....it's just MYSPACE!!! Have FUN with it!!! We all need a good laugh, or a compliment now and then...It dos'nt hurt to be careful...but you gotta open up your mind a little...there's a lot to learn on myspace. It's up to you, what you choose to do with that knowledge, just the same as in "real life"
