If you can visualize these popular artists, then you can visualize and have already experienced, the diverse sounds produced by KYZE………….aka…BLACK FINGERS “Kyze” (born Kevin Ravenell) is a native New Yorker. He grew up in the projects in Harlem. It was here that “Kyze” would succeed in surviving the mean streets by embracing music early. At age twelve “Kyze” became a skilled musician. He mastered many instruments such as the drums, guitar and piano. Kyze credits his early love and passion for music and instruments as a strong hand in his diverse sound and musical accomplishments. As a result of years of hard work “KYZE“, began developing a name for himself. He began doing production for several artists, including N.O.R.E. and Capone and Noreaga, creating gold and platinum albums from his very own studio. It was know surprise when “Kyze “ was positioned the in house producer for “Violator’s” -THUGGED OUT Ent. in 1998. “Kyze” continued to work on several albums for the rap duo, which lead to more and more opportunity for the now accomplished HARLEM NITE Currently, Kyze’s triumph in production and recording has allowed him to work with artists such as JENNIE ORTEGA HOLLYWOOD RECORDS, DMX, Pastor Troy, Bubba Sparx,BIG MATO, DJ Kay Slay, and Def Jams Reggae Hip Hop artist Lexxus. “Kyze” also continues production for the N.O.R.E- solo album, the Capone-solo album and the anticipated C.N.N. album.( Capone and Noreaga). He has developed his own studio, THE ROOM LAB /HOOD LAD STUDIOS which has aired on B.E.T. , M.T.V. and received several write ups in the Source, and Vibe magazines. “Kyze” remembering how hard it was to struggle has used his success in helping and developing new talent. He has started his own label WITH THE HELP OF HIS HARD AN HIS PARTNER IN BEAT MASTER MINE SPK aka EL MATON SPKILLA MUZIK, 1020 Entertainment Inc. and works individually with R&B artist, Mizz Paula, the best kept secret, and floetic rap duo Caliba , BIG MATO, THE HANG HANG GANG ALBUM,KYZE N SPK COMP ALBUM…….COMIN 2006 Kyze’s sound is positioned as Hard-Edgy Hip Hop with an R&B and Pop Undertone. His flammable arrangements, explosive chords and tempestuous drum patterns represent a rising tide in music that current and future audiences will definitely crave. “Kyze” creates music that you can feel, smell and almost touch, and he says, “That there is more to come“.
