Hi! My name is Sabeen a.k.a. The Brain...I have a lovely friend who I like to call Pinky! Pinky keeps me from going insane (ironically)!
I'm studying GRAPHICS at Leeds College of Art and Design, and I finally feel at home. It took me a long time, to get where I am, and I can honestly say I have never been happier...so thank you to all of those taking part! x
I worked as a Telesales advisor for three years, scamming people to sell them insurance... and for the last six months at the same place I trained people to do the same thing!
I was a waitress for two weeks at a cafe called Motown Rock, I didn't do it for the money, I just liked listening to Motown music all day, and enjoyed learning the tricks of the trade! but my boss was a prick so I left!
I had work experience at Marks and Spencer when I was fifteen, but my boss was a prick so I left!

All my life, I have been surrounded by retail, and fashion. That's what everyone in my family does. shops, warehouses, stalls. Most of my childhood weekends were spent in shops. I use this fact as an excuse for my love of fashion and shopping! I also hate asking for a refund on ANYTHING, cos I know how annoying it is!
I would LOVE to get into fashion design, but I know how hard it can be to get into it, so I'm trying not to edge towards it, even though I love the industry so much.

If we're talkin celebs, I'd love to meet pretty much anybody to do with music, especially music related to RnB and similar genres... but I do have a very universal music taste..... I'd love to meet a big successful actor....for example Johnny Depp, or Halle Berry, or ANY of the casts of Lost or Six Feet Under or Desperate Housewives or Nip/Tuck or Friends (channel four is my favourite channel)...

Hello Beautiful...

Music:

..Well I already said really...I'll dance to anything with a beat if you catch me in a good mood (which is around 95% of the time)

...and I listen to a wide range of stuff from this freaky reggae/rock stuff, to deep deep neo soul...

I appreciate pretty much anything musical... but that's real music I mean...when I think of a musical artist... I talk about the people that can call themselves "singer/songwriter/producer"...people with real talent...not these lazy assholes that go on tv talent shows to get puppeted around into crappy music when they're talent would be worth so much more if they had the business brains to match...I follow the works and words of people like...MJ...Beyonce...Maxwell...Erykah...Jill...Eric Benet...Amy Winehouse...George Michael... Marillion... Smashing Pumkins...The Red Hot Chilli Peppers...Floetry...Foo Fighters (to name a few)...you can see how I will listen to a variety of very different stuffs

Movies:

DONNIE DARKO!!! And I love anything by QUENTIN TARANTINO and anything by KEVIN SMITH and TIM BURTON!!!

I love all my gory horrors and I am also extremely turned on by pretty much anything to do with VAMPIRES...don't ask me why...I just find them so fascinating...

I studied film for a year gaining an AS level... so I can no longer watch a film without analysing it, and now I'm the same with Art & Design!

Television:

..Oooooooh that scene where Shannon gets it on with Boone just came on...she's such a manipulative shrew! She didn't deserve to get with him (that garlic /onion thing was both disgusting and hilariaous Maggie) lol! grrr!... ok I've been a lil distracted with watching and writing too and now Boone just found Shannon's dead body...oooohhhh man...why couldn't that have been real? why couldn't they have killed Shannon off INSTEAD of Boone? not as well as!! I've bin in love with Ian Somerhalder since I saw him in Rules of Attraction with Shannon Sossamon....I must say I found him slightly sexier as a gay man... it's the whole taboo kinda thing...maybe not taboo... but definately forbidden! So as you can see, I'm hooked on LOST at the moment...I also love SIX FEET UNDER! and of course FRIENDS, DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, NIP/TUCK... the list is pretty much any channel four dramas!!! BOSTON LEGAL, and DEXTER! I dont get much time for tv these days, I used to be into all the crappy soaps, but workin evenings for two years brilliantly weaned me off them!! I couldnt keep up with all the ridiculous storylines!! I'm also a huuuge fan of RUSSEL BRAND, I think he's just ace, I'd love to work with him (somehow?) some day!

Books:

..The first book I ever enjoyed was "Goodnight Mister Tom" by Michelle Magorian...after that it would have to be all the Harry Potters so far...I also liked a book called "Nadia Knows Best", and just a week ago I finished reading "The Game" by Neil Strauss...he is sooooooo goooooooooooood!!! I want to read "The Catcher In The Rye", and I'm in the process of reading "Brick Lane"...so like my music taste, I have no restrictions to what I read! I love "To Kill a Mockingbird". "Roll of Thunder" by Mildred D Taylor made me cry....of course I love all the "Mr. Men" and "Little Miss" books too! :op

Heroes:

erm erm erm...................growing up I was surrounded by MICHAEL JACKSON and the rest of his family...I love them...mostly him and JANET...would do ANYTHING to meet them...MICHAEL...I think he is just amazing...he is just so unbeleiveably talented and and so misunderstood at the same time, it breaks my heart...in one of my classes at college in 2005, I had to do a presentation on some sort of persuasion...this was in spring I think...it was just before the court case actually started...I did a 30 minute presentation on proving his innocence to my class and I succeeded...before and after my presentation I took a tally of who thought he was innocent and who thought he was guilty...before it was 6:22 and two people weren't sure...afterwards...the same people were unsure but the figure was 20:8!!! and I don't even need to say anything about JANET...she is just immensely talented...! I also would have to say JOHNNY DEPP...not just because he happens to be gorgeous, but I love the risks he takes...I love how random his films can be...him and TIM BURTON amaze me...I think JENNIFER LOPEZ is also very inspirational...she went from a dancer to an actress to a singer...shes brilliant...I find everything to do with LOST very inspirational too...I mean...they only had something like three months to get a pilot done and look how successful it is? BUT they did have a HUUUUGE budget! hahahah.......I love ERYKAH BADU as well...her music has so much depth and meaning...she is also amazing in concert...FRONT ROW BABY!!!
