About Me

QUANTUM DOLORIS is a musical project born in 1994 in the mind of LoL, bass player and singer in various rock bands in the early 80s (Les Proscrits, C-KEL, Medicine Men, Misfits cookin).
Only after few benefit "improvised" shows (Burma for instance) under the name of MESCA ULAD, with some different formation (thx to Xavier, Bruno, Laurent, Michael...), and few "revelations" later, LoL decided to definitively change the name into QUANTUM DOLORIS... (old latin expression still in use) means "limits of tolerance to pain"... If you want to know more, I let you do the search... ...more funny this way ; )
Between 1984 and 1988, LoL was one of DJ Guests for some of the first Parisian Gothic events that tooks place at La Sebale at The Opera Night, then co-producer/DJ for some Goths nights at the French Club Le Boucanier...
Since then, he has been collaborating as a sound and lighting engineer and musician for several musical and theatrical projects (Nitchevo, Longpig, Blossom, Chaos Collectif... etc)...
In 2000, James B. joins in. Founder in 1994 of the band LBM Project, producer of the LBM Project's CD in 1996. Then, he is guitarist in the band Mizamort and bass player for his project "Tombes Closes"...
Since then, according opportunities and encounters, the band has been enriching with new creative members making every concert unique and different from the previous one...
Now is the year 2007 - Guillaume (drums) and Aymeric (guitars) are bringing new energies into it... and the spirit still here... more powerful than ever...
as always, QUANTUM DOLORIS stills a neverending experience in itself...

QUANTUM DOLORIS est un projet ne en 1994, de l'esprit de LoL; bassiste/chanteur dans diverses formations rock depuis le debut des 80's (C-Kel, Medecine Men, Misfits cookin, Les Proscrits).
Apres seulement quelques "benefit" shows improvisés (pour la birmanie, entre autres) sous le nom MESCA ULAD et différents musiciens (thx to Xavier, Bruno, Laurent, Michael...), ...et quelques "révelations" plus tard, LoL décida de changer définitivement le nom en QUANTUM DOLORIS... expression latine (toujours en usage) designant le "seuil de tolérance à la douleur"... si vous voulez en savoir plus, je vous laisse chercher... c'est plus interressant
... , entre 1984 et 1988, fut DJ guest pour certaines des premieres soirees "gothique" parisiennes de "La Sebale" a l'Opera Night (rue Gramont, 2e) et par la suite co-producteur et DJ d'autres soirees club au "Boucanier" (rue Vavin, 14e)...
...N'a eu de cesse de collaborer des lors, en tant que sonorisateur, eclairagiste ou musicien, a divers projets musicaux et theatraux (Nitchevo, Longpig, Blossom, Chaos Collectif... etc).
En 2000, James B. rejoins la formation. Fondateur du groupe "LBM-Project" en 1994 (auto producteur de leur unique CD en 1996), puis guitariste au sein du groupe "Mizamort" et bassiste du projet "Tombes Closes"...
Depuis, et selon l'occasion, le groupe s enrichit de nouveaux membres creatifs, rendant chaque concert unique et different du precedent....
En cette annee 2007, Guillaume (batterie) et Aymeric (guitare) entrent en scène... et l'energie reste au rendez-vous... à suivre, donc...
QUANTUM DOLORIS, à toujours été, est et restera comme une experimentation sans fin...

FIRST;
for information;
The entity, the whole concept named "Satan" or "Devil" has been introduced in the so called "New Testament"... Actually, a compilation of epistles and gospels, written between 100 and 200 years, and then compiled, after the first scriptures and/or Christ's death...
In one word; Telling us that "evil" is an "external entity" to man... nothing to do with man who, according to it, is a good creature (not woman, who never had any soul -like animals- for the Vatican, til' the fifties -20th century-...and everyone can check this out... it's sadly true).
(BTW... How can someone give any credit to a book written 200 years after those concerned events... lool)
The first bible/scripture written ("old testament" or "protestant old testament") tells the fact that evil is inside human being, Not outside!! and by telling so, that the real struggle is really inside every man (and woman ;) )... such belief have been shared with judaism... in the beginning...
Note: Judaism commonly uses the term "Tanakh" to refer to its canon, which corresponds to the "Protestant Old Testament". In academic circles, terms such as "Hebrew Bible" are commonly used to refer to the Tanakh.

We wrote down those statements "to try" to put an end to all preconception ideas on the subject.
Too many people are talking about or acting in the name of, without knowing anything of those so called 9 statements (based on a far more huge and serious work, from A.S.Lavey, than we think...)

We're not "so called" satanist or whatsoever. We're just thinking that there is aparently, a kind of hidden truth behind every belief, religion or philosophy...

...each one supposed to have a piece of a big puzzled picture.
Just try to imagine like a kind of code that, very long time ago, has been scattered throughout the world ...and finally lost in history of those human beliefs...
