I'm always interested in trying new things. Show me something I haven't done before and I will be most happy. I love to take walks at all hours of the day and night. I love to stargaze. I'm a photographer and I love to watch the way light behaves. I enjoy cooking really good food and eating it. I love to play music on the violin and on the radio. I also love to listen to the world around me, from the silence of the desert to the cacophany of a busy downtown or industrial area. I love to drive my motorcycle up winding highways and feel its accelleration. I can appreciate the different smells of plants and flowers at different times of days and seasons. I love rescuing and rehabilitating wildlife. I like meditating in distant locations. I have fun going out to clubs and bars with friends. I enjoy good conversations with strangers. I love giving back rubs. I love scuba diving and snorkling. One of these days I want to fly a plane.
I hang out with all kinds of different people. My attention span can be short sometimes and I enjoy a change in the groups that I hang out with. I'm comfortable with socializing with hippies in the woods, and senior citizens at formal classical performances. I enjoy as many different perspectives on life that I can find. I find that the people that I enjoy the most are those that don't take things too seriously. The people that believe that nothing, and everything is sacred. Creative people with open minds that continue to grow and develop. The one thing I can't stand is stagnation.
I enjoy a lot of classical music. I also like pop, middle eastern, jazz, world music, ambient, rock, some new age hippie music is fun. I'm not a big techno, rap, or country fan, though there are always exceptions.
I like artsy movies like Pi, horror movies, sci fi (as long as it isn't crap), a romantic comedy thrown in the mix is fun. Cartoons can be pretty good as well.
I haven't be watching much TV lately, but nip/tuck is good when I catch it. Battlestar Galactica - amazingness in a tube!
David Sedaris' books are definitely some of my favorite.
Steve Jobs! Arianna Huffington, Robert Byrd, NPR- I would be lost without it, Edward R. Murrow.
