You simply don't know what to believe, but you're willing to try anything once. Western values, Eastern values, hedonism and minimalism, you've spent some time in every camp. But you still don't have any idea what camp you belong in. This makes you an individualist of the highest order, but also really lonely. It's time to chill out under a tree. And realize that at least you believe in ferries.

My Interests

Words, deeds, thoughts, actions. None of them work very well without the others. Too general? Not yet, not anyway. Try poetry, sardonic music, triathlons, tennis and any sport featuring ice and Canadian atheletes. BTW, if you like the layout for this site, contact nuclearcentury.com . They have a bunch of layouts and apps to choose from for MySpace.

I'd like to meet:

I like meeting bands and musicians who're content to let me find them . I have a curious mind, it will happen. Artists, writers, interesting people are always welcome; I love my work in the literary arts community and delight in cool new perspectives.Who I don't like to meet: spam-bands trolling for contacts: trolling is the sport of Trolls; we goats aren't cool with that. Please return to your bridges. Oh, and fembots...I'm sure you're all lovely but I won't sign up for PayPal to meet you .. or become your porny-friend. Kindly fuck off.In the meantime, if your name is Corb Lund or Leonard Cohen, Ani Difranco or Lisa Robertson, Ben Harper or Ken Goldsmith, David Suzuki or Noam Chomsky, drop me a line the next time you hit Montreal. I'll cheerfully spot you a pint at Hurleys or The Cock and Crown.

Music:

Today: Corb Lund, The Weakerthans, Old JT and the Moody Blues. Rammstein sometime, Beastie Boys, Ben Harper. Sublime, Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, K-os. Sometimes Springsteen, sometimes Beck, sometimes BT or the Basement Jaxx.

Movies:

Not really my bag, though I do watch them from time to time. I *heart* Huckabees is great, same for Rushmore, The Life Aquatic and anything starring Gabriel Byrne.

Television:

Heroes, whatever I can stream off CBC since I no longer bother with a television.

Books:

Nabokov, Perec, Stout, Burroughs, Auster, Derksen, millAr, Robertson, Sorrentino, Kroetsch, Woolf...ask me some time, read de Beuviour and Cixioux(sp) in the meantime.

Heroes:

I'm trying to become my own. Keep me posted on how that's coming, will ya?
