Hola Amiga!
My name is Karen.
I pretend to speak Spanish like my best friend—
she means the world to me.
I am Dora the explorer,
yet I tend to lose everything.

I own a pair of small chocolate-brown eyes.
They change colour in the sun,
little almonds you can barely see when I laugh.

I wear glasses.
I have horrible vision.
Yet I see into things deeper than I want to.

Tiny in size
Small in height.
Big at heart.
Always on the tip of my toes,
I like to give big hugs

I am called a banana.
Yellow on the outside,
White on the inside.
A mix of colours
Brown.

Born the size of a McDonald’s tray
I wore socks—
No shoes fit.
Maybe that’s why now I always take my shoes off
I feel like I’ve lost my memory…

I remember a teacher.
Skipping down the stairs
He looked at me,
I thought of Mary Poppins.
My memory fools me.

You’ll find me at school,
But rarely at home.
I like to learn new things.
I hate homework.

I’ve lost my motivation,
I’m searching for it.

I’m not a fan of reading
Open a book
Only letter I’ll see
zzzzZzzZ

Golf, running, swimming, pilates, biking
I used to be crazy about fitness,
Laziness took over.

I sleep on the bus,
by the computer screen,
in class,
in the halls,
when I talk,
I’m stuck in a dream.

Fights.
Lies.
Negativity.
I don’t’ want to grow up.

I take many photos
The world never ceases to amaze me
I capture it.

By the time I’ve got wrinkles
I’d like to be working for National Geographic,
I dream big and
want to travel the world,

I’ve been to Thailand, Hong Kong, Xian,
Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic,
Lots of states,
Almost all the provinces.
The list will go on…

I like Vanilla, Chap Stick and French.
Never chocolate.
I love cereal.
Lucky charms and four leaf clovers.

I am in love,
Apples, Peaches, Papaya, Mango, Pears
I’ll love you in white tees and plain jeans.

You drink vodka,
I prefer orange juice.

I am like the ocean
Forever changing
Each step I take I’m somewhere new.
Drowning deep.

Storms have battered me.
I am alive,
Stronger.

A treasure chest
Jewels of sparkling lessons
Money cannot buy them.

The mirror hates me
Almost as much as I hate it.
I’m covered in silky cloths, silver hearts and love.

I like colours.
I like to draw.
I like to paint.
I like to make a mess.
Preferably not to on my face.

Music makes me dance
Laugh.
Cry.
Sing my way through life,
Sleep away the pain.

When I pray I’m thankful
Materialism annoys me.
Flowers make me happy

I found Jesus this summer,
He lives within me
I cried.

Mother Teresa is my hero
I am a second mother to many
I love to help, but
I always forget to help myself.

I laugh too much,
Is that possible?

Lies anger me.
I want to talk things out
…silence.

Gossip is a waste of life.
Words of twisted truth.
Too deceiving,
Must stop believing.

Don’t hate.
Why hate when you can love?

Criticism is my ally,
My worst enemy

Dragonflies are beautiful.
Mosquitoes hurt me.
Fruit flies scare me.
Spiders bite.
So does love.

about me:
-I love making ppl laugh and smile because it makes my heart smile.
-I am quite random and tell many stories.
-I like to take pictures of anything random I find beautiful.
-I like to sing, but way too shy to in front of ppl.
-I am horribly ticklish.
-I'm not a fan of gossip and when ppl are not truthful.
-I am always pushing others to do things that they think they could never do because
-I do not want anyone to have any regrets.
-Life is too short to feel sad, we all have our ups and downs, we just gotta know when to get back up and not stay like that forever.
-I like to bring out the best in people.
-I have some real sweet friends that I am so thankful for. I am always thankful for everything I have. I’m not anyone special, I am just me. Don’t care to be judged. If you don't like to be judged, don't judge either. I dislike when ppl do things that they wouldn't like done to themselves.

-and please.. never ever underestimate yourself.. one individual can do so much more than you think! You can make a difference even if you don’t see it :)
