Partners Rick Hunter (Fred Dryer) and Dee Dee McCall (Stepfanie Kramer) of the LAPD Homicide Division solve homicide cases together in Los Angeles, often going undercover to help keep the scum out of the streets and serve Justice. Hunter's tough cop style and McCall's no-nonsense approach to the job brings together an amazing partnership, and great friendship.
Not only is Hunter one of the greatest police shows to ever be on television, but it is also one of the highest rated police show for several seasons in a row. The show is always exciting, full of action, and has plenty of funny moments between Hunter and McCall. The relationship between the two partners was something special and something other '80s cop shows did not have. This show ran primetime, on NBC from 1984 to 1991.
